Sunstone Lodge by 101 Great Escapes

Pros: Firstly, the location is super, the property is right next to the ski slope, you can ski right into the hotel. The room is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has all the utensils. In a word, we will return there.

Overall was very good. We love the area and the numerous lakes and hiking possibilities.

Pros: Access procedures to get garage passes in the entrance lock box were very clear and one would have expected to get info for entering the actual apartment in the same lockbox. Instead we had to go back and read the entire arrival process to notice that the door code was inserted there.... But all was well in the end.

Cons: I would have preferred A view of the mountains (Front of the building instead of the back of the building). It was not clear at all where to leave the garbage upon departure.

Wonderful short visit with a family

Pros: Very well equipped apartment. Parking free, very clean, big kitchen, balcony, 2 bathrooms, large fridge, friendly hosts.

Cons: In winter it‘s the perfect location as the first lift is 300m away. For summer, it is a bit off to the attractions but on the other hand quiet and if you have a car with you, manageable.

Nice appartment with good facilities

Pros: Nice and cosy appartment in alpine style building. Good ameneties and clean rooms.

Cons: No AC and whashing machine did not work unless you have a US telephone

Pros: We loved the location of the property. It is surrounded by beautiful scenic mountain views. It was an easy self-check in with the directions from text to pick up key cards for the garage and easy keyless entry with code for the apartment. Having a small kitchen with all of the amenities helps for a small 3-day 2 night get away. Loved the balcony with beautiful views. The shops were not too far of a drive and there were plenty to different restaurants. Lots of hiking and biking trails nearby. This was our first time in Mammoth Lakes, and it was a great location and will be happy to go again.

Overall, we enjoyed the property and would consider renting again.

Pros: Great location and view. If we wanted to book again, how would we do this?

Cons: Microwave above stove was not in working order. The TV and electronics are out of date.

Perfect place for skiing Mammoth

Pros: Great location for skiing in Mammoth. Ski in and out was perfect. The room was clean and good space. We were only two, but it was big enough for two couples or a family. Parking was covered and with very good access to the elevator and ski in out door. The hot tub was great after skiing. It would have been nice to have some coffee or tea bags in the room.

Awesome place ! Comfortable ski in ski out with pool jacuzzi and a ski locker.

Pros: True ski in ski out with Mountain View’s. Well designed single bedroom with breakfast nook.. living room and full kitchen. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi.

Only thing I would change, book the stay for more days next time

Pros: Beautiful location. Sitting outside on the balcony listening to the peaceful sounds of nature was wonderful.

Cons: Didn’t have a complaint
