Slope Side Studio in Northstar Village!

Pros: Excellent location, right in the village, walking distance to the ski lifts. Decent value, too. Responsive and friendly owner, who went out of his way to help us with a quite unusual request. Thank you!

Pros: Great location! Super convenient to get on the slopes and be in the village. So nice to have the parking space too!

Pros: Spacious, comfortable and very clean. Good value. Spent three days and nights exploring Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake, primarily for hiking, history and sightseeing. Served our purposes well. Owner and /or manager is very helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay.

This unit was in a great location. Close to shops, restaurants and many activities. We enjoyed it.

Pros: The room was great, the temperature was easy to control, the bed and pillows were comfortable, there were ample towels and storage space, the shower was great, and the bathroom lighting was fantastic. There are pots and pans in the kitchenette as well as a coffeemaker and a mini fridge and stove top. Communication prior to arrival was fantastic and host offered phone number for communication if needed. Easy entrance into the room and building, with a nice balcony and the coffee shop/deli/convenience store directly across from the apartment.

Cons: I wasn't really sure how to access the pool or where it was, and finding the room when I arrived at 2am was a bit confusing (I definitely didn't want to wake the host up at this time)-- I wish I had received a map of where to go. The only thing I thought was missing in the room was actual coffee for the coffee maker as well as eating utensils (ample cooking utensils but no fork/spoon/knife).

All in all our stay worked out. The condo was clean comfortable enuf and we had a nice time.

Pros: Location as pretty convenient to Truckee and beaches. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen had the essentials. I so very much appreciated Steve’s accommodation of my requests— I asked him to not let cleaners use Clorox or Lysol in advance and he agreed, which made the place much safer for my chemical sensitivities- thank YOU! And Steve even bought Bon Ami cleanser for cleaners to use at my request- wow ! I so appreciate that! Parking was readily available and there was a handy cart for us to use to take our suitcases on- great. Condos were quiet in evening. And the price of condo was very reasonable

Cons: It would be helpful to have a small lamp on bedside table so that when I turn off ceiling lights before bed I don’t have to make my way in dark to bedside. And by the way- I put the 3 bottles of shampoo from shower to the balcony becuz of my fragrance sensitivities. I hope the cleaner found them. The 2 chairs were not very comfortable on our backs so we put pillows on chairs. It would be helpful to have 3-4 tea towels in kitchen. There’s only one.

I loved how clean it was and that it had everything I needed.

Pros: I loved the cleanliness, how cute the condo was, how easy the process to enter and the location.

Cons: It’s something that probably can’t be corrected. The condo above me had people walking around at midnight and 1 a.m. and it was very loud, also people were in the hallway at around midnight which was noisy. The walls are thin. Kept waking me up. Otherwise I liked everything.
