Petite Guesthouse with Kitchenette and Private Bathroom

Really cute place!

Pros: I loved the coziness and the whole atmosphere of the place. All of the little details do add up and make it feel like home!

Cons: I only wish that the sink in the bathroom would be a bit bigger, but I understand that the square footage might not allow it, and there is a sink in the mini kitchen that can be a good alternative!

The bed, AC unit, and kitchenette were the best parts.

Pros: The place was nice and space was good for me and my pup. Having a kitchenette was nice so I could cook instead of eating out. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The AC unit in the bedroom worked well and kept the room very cool. The host was kind, thoughtful, and communicated well.

Cons: The bathroom was really small, making it uncomfortable to use the toilet. The bathroom sink was too small to wash my hands or brush my teeth, so I had to use the kitchen sink instead. The tiny shower was ok for 1 person, but the water pressure was intense and hurt. The AC unit in the bed room could not cool the rest of the place, and the little ceiling fan in the kitchen didn't help either, so the living space stayed hot day and night. Previous renter's dog hair was everywhere, despite the host having cleaned - in the shower, on the bath rug, on bedroom rug, on the floors, etc.

As a single female solo traveler I felt safe, comfortable and at home. It was great!

Pros: The property is inviting and welcoming. The unit is efficient and comfortable. I had everything I needed and it was a quick drive to Kernville where I was working for the weekend.

Cons: Wasn’t crazy about the shower floor. The rocks look great but we’re uncomfortable to my tired achy feet after standing all day. However, a pair of shower slippers would resolve that, so plan to pick up a pair for future travels.

Excellent place. Definitely considering this place for next time.
