Lovely pad for a few days!

Pros: Lots of fun. Lovely outlook and hot tub. Enjoyed this place and use of the nearby hotel pool.

Cons: Might not suit everyone- one bedroom accessible through ladder or external stairs.

Convenient location to access Yosemite National Park with good facilities for self-catering.

Pros: Location an easy drive to Yosemite National Park. Facilities were good for self-catering - we brought our food with us. There is a nice walk along the river from the property.

Convenient for Yosemite

Pros: The space was good for 4 adults and a toddler. The kitchen was well equipped. The outside space was nice. We could use the pool at Cedar Lodge.

Cons: The outside lights didn't work which made arriving in the dark very difficult....they were fixed very quickly when reported the next day. The hot tub water appeared to be murky. There was quite a lot of road noise especially early in the morning. I'm not sure where the name Gatekeepers Lodge comes from...it was called the Yellow House!

Cute house outside Yosemite NP

Pros: Clean, basic, easy check-in at Cedar Lodge. Hot tub is fantastic. Festoon lights are a nice touch. One car space. Located OUTSIDE Yosemite NP, it can be a quick 30 minute drive to the entry gate if you leave early each day (between 6am & 8am). One day we left at 10.15am and it took a full 3 hours in a crawling queue of traffic just to reach the park gate. This was late May, Memorial Day weekend. Big fridge/freezer.

Absolute aanrader als uitvalsbasis van Sequioa NP

Pros: Heerlijk plekje, strategisch gelegen op weg naar Sequoia NP. Je hebt alle comfort in het huisje, inclusief rijkelijk uitgeruste keuken. Jacuzzi op het terras. Je mag gebruik maken van het zwembad van het hotel op 5' rijden. Wegesn stroompannen in de omgeving hebben ze de 2de nacht 100% terugbetaald. een erg mooi geste. Absolute aanrader!

Cons: De wifi verbining was zwak tot onbestaande: in deze tijden een must have. Zeker voor buitenlandse toeristen die geen locale datakaart in hun telefoon hebben. De Wifi aan de hotelreceptie was echter top.

War eine sehr gute Entscheidung

Pros: Lage idyllisch, das Haus unerwartet groß und sauber! Sehr gut eingerichtet. Mit großer Terasse, auf der wir morgens frühstücken konnten und einen herrlichen und Sonnenaufgang sahen. Eigentlich hat das Haus unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, bis auf die anfängliche Kälte im Haus.

Cons: Das Haus war bei der Ankunft ungeheizt, es dauerte etwas bis es eine gemütliche Wärme hatte. Wir waren froh, dass wir durch frühere Rezensionen wussten, dass wir an der benachbarten Lodge den Schlüssel abholen mussten.

Würden es wieder buchen. Tolle Lage mit guter Ausstattung für Besuch des Yosemite Parks.

Pros: Sehr schöne Lage (in der Natur) mit toller Aussicht und guter Ausstattung wie sauberer Gasgrill, komplett eingerichteter Küche usw. Wer Geschäfte, Party oder sonst was erwartet wird enttäuscht, alles Nötige findet man am Ort der Schlüsselübergabe (ca. 3-4 km) oder in Mariposa (auf dem Weg zur Unterkunft).

Cons: Für uns ok, aber wer schlecht Treppen steigen kann, kaum geeignet. Wegen der Lage zum Yosemite Park preislich etwas höher als im Vergleich zu anderen Standorten.
