Overall GREAT.. Lodges are the Best for Family Trips.

Pros: We have stayed every year in the numerous Lodges at Mammoth. We are a long time Home owner in Mammoth Lakes , sold back in 2010. Mammoth Lakes is our 2nd Home.

A great place in Mammoth

Pros: Lodge 1156 is a lovely place for a group of 6 to 10. Eventhough it is part of a triplex, it is quiet and very private. Beds are great and it was wonderful to have bathrooms in every bedroom. Great number of glasses, cups, plates ect. And good cookware for most things. The atmosphere is great, sofa comfy... overall a lovely upper end vacation stay.

Cons: 1. The can opener is very difficult and poorly functioning. 2. No tablespoon in the measuring spoons 3. The dishwasher is not properly attached and can work it's way back and prevent the door from shutting properly. 4. Garage door code did not work and only one opener worked. 5. The oven vent did not work properly.

We loved this townhouse and would definitely rent here again.

Pros: With 3 bedrooms and a loft, each with a full bath (plus a powder room off the kitchen) it was perfect for our family. The location worked well for us, as it was on a golf course where we could take the children to slide, yet just 5 -10 minutes from stores and 2 Mammoth lodges.

Cons: We had a bit of a problem with the clothes dryer. The staff at the rental company responded very quickly, but it probably needs more repair or replacement.
