Aspen Creek #401 Year-Round Outdoor Activities

Great size and location, but needs new beds and bedding

Pros: This property is probably one of the biggest we stayed in for all our ski weekends. The mud room was an excellent bonus. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you can think about to make your stay feel like home. We appreciated the real wood fire and overall heating, as it was extremely cold outside and snowing during our stay. We were very close to Eagle Lodge ski lift. My husband dropped us there with all our gear in the mornings, and he walked up. In the afternoons, we walked back to the condo. Even in our ski boots, it was easy enough. It's downhill coming back. Hence not attempting it in the mornings.

Cons: We struggled to find the correct code for the key-lock, we received different messages with different codes, from the property and on the Booking.com app. Of the 3 different numbers we were given the 3rd one we tried opened up the keylock. However, my main reason for not giving this property 10/10 is that it really needs new beds and bedding. The overall decor, kitchen design, appliances (big and small), and utensils are all really really old, but its functional and clean, so I can forgive it. But please, there are some blankets thats so old, its got holes in, and so rough from decades of use and washing that its just plain disgusting to use. And you can feel the springs in the both the main bed and on the sleeper couch, its really unpleasant. Paying more than $300 per night, I would love a soft comfy bed and bedding. Not too much to ask.
