Peaceful & secluded

Excellent place to stay

Pros: We used the property as a base for Yosemite, even though it was an hour drive from the property to the national park. The property was a great place to relax after a busy day. We used the large supermarket in Mariposa to purchase provisions which was only a short drive away. The property was extremely spacious; huge bedrooms, 2 bathrooms upstairs (one being en-suite). The facilities available were excellent including a separate washer and dryer. The view was amazing from the veranda and was so peaceful and quiet. Basic provisions inc tea, coffee, oil, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent all available.

Cons: Being very picky here but oven instructions would have been helpful. An air fryer would be an added bonus.

Pros: We've spent a few night in this beautiful place when visiting Yosemite National Park. The house itself is stunning and offers everything you need. Even though we spent most of our time in Yosemite we wished that we could have spent more time in the house and on the porch. Mariposa is just a few minutes drive away and offers a supermarket and restaurants. Yosemite valley can be reached within 75min. Our host was very kind and helpful, we would definitely like to come back sometime to explore Yosemite NP even more.

Peaceful and relaxing

Pros: What a wonderful cabin so peaceful and secluded it was wonderful sitting outside each morning having breakfast looking at the hills the only noise is the wildlife. The owners kept us well informed on events going on . I would certainly recommend staying there if you want to relax. Big clean and tidy. I will certainly book again if we come back in 2027

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Quintessential American timber lodge and ideal base for exploring Mariposa county

Pros: Very large yet cosy downstairs open plan area, atmospheric bedrooms with large beds and lovely timber finishes. Our kids also loved the piano and retro arcade games machine. This is an authentic lodge living experience in the woods, highly recommended.

Cons: Parts of the kitchen are dated which the owners will be aware of, but this is in keeping with the property's charm and is not a major drawback.

Wish we had stayed longer

Pros: The property is fantastic and so spacious, and the view is gorgeous.

We had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous house - absolutely perfect!

Pros: Beautiful peaceful location with easy access to Yosemite National Park. The house had everything we could want and more with so much space inside and out. We loved having a grill in the evening in the deck and listening to the cicadas. A wonderful stay.

Wished we could have stayed longer. The most relaxing place ever.

Pros: The location was breathtaking. Watching the eagles circling the skies whilst having breakfast on the deck was amazing. Super peacefully. Incredible views - the photos don’t do justice to the amazing setting.

Cons: The access road was a bit challenging. Glad we didn’t hire a low sports car.
