Pros: Stunning views. Spacious property at great value for money. Hosts were very helpful and responsive as we amended our booking to stay a day longer - so glad we did!

Cons: Make sure you take plenty of fresh food with you and fill up with petrol/gas in Porterville

A gorgeous stay in the mountains

Pros: The location of the house is stunning, as is the drive to and from the little town. It is a very long and windy road, but easily navigable. The facilities were great, the kitchen and laundry room came in really handy as we were part way through a longer trip. Sadly the weather was a bit rainy so we couldn't enjoy the terrace but in better weather, it would have been beautiful. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and we had no problem using the door code to enter the property. The wifi is strong too. The main bedroom had a lovely big, comfy bed - the other double was a bit creaky and the bunk bed room was very dark but on the whole a great experience for a short trip.

Cons: If some coffee could have been provided it would have been very welcome!

Pros: Spacious, clean and comfortable with a spectacular view to hills. Great terrace, comfortable bed, clean bathrooms helped us to enjoy our stay really much. Deer were just walking nearby, fast access to Josemite - all in all, we had a great experience with a responsive and kind host. Would recommend to couples, friends!

Beautiful, Remote Spot near Camp Nelson

Pros: The cabin is in a beautiful, natural setting. It is very serene and peaceful. The fireplace was a huge bonus and our favorite feature of the house. The back deck was also very beautiful. The property was super clean, which was really nice, and the cabin was equipped with most needs in the kitchen, etc. The property host, Regan, was super communicative and helpful. She responded to inquiries and questions right away. The wifi, heat, and fireplace all worked great.

Cons: The area is very remote and there is no cell service. We were three women traveling together and we felt a bit unsafe not having cell service the whole time. Obviously this is not the property's fault as the remoteness is part of the beauty, but I wish this was something we were aware of in the beginning. To be honest, we might not have booked the property if we knew there was no cell service for 10+ miles surrounding the property, just for safety purposes. There was also pretty major roadwork on the only road you use to access the property, which made things a bit hectic. The host was very communicative about this, which was great, but it was an added stressful component. It would also have been helpful to have clearer directions and maps in the cabin for local spots to go to. There was a binder with local spots, but it didn't give any detailed directions and with no cell service it wasn't possible to use GoogleMaps or navigation once you left the cabin.

Cons: There was plenty of hot water, but mixing it with cold to the preferred level is a difficult task in the master bedroom. Very little turn leads to big difference in temperature.

Pros: Absolutely love this cabin. We are a family of 4, we have 2 young adult children and they had a blast. Loved the place. Quiet, beautiful view of the stars. Cabin had everything needed. Make sure you bring plenty of groceries, cabin was so clean and makes you feel right at home. Recommend 100%

Wauw

Pros: De ruimte, het uitzicht, echt prachtig. Pittige weg er naar toe, maar dan heb je ook wat.

Tijdens onze reis door west-Amerika heerlijk kunnen relaxen op deze plek.

Pros: Fijn, schoon huis op rustig gelegen locatie. Huis geeft op loopafstand toegang tot een riviertje waar je verkoeling kan vinden. Afdaling er naar toe is wel klimmen en klauteren dus niet voor iedereen makkelijk toegankelijk. Omgeving is mooi met bossen.

Pros: Perfekt gelegen, um in der Natur zu relaxen, Möglichkeiten zum Wandern vorhanden, großzügige Unterkunft mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer...jederzeit gerne wieder.
