A good base for summer activities around Lake Tahoe. This was our kids favourite part of the holiday

Pros: We loved having the deck to use on a hot summer’s evening. The bear system was easy to use thanks to the good instructions.

Cons: You do need to drive to get anywhere.

Very nice and cozy cabin with an amazing view perfect for a small family.

Pros: It was a beautiful property. The rooms were great with lots of storage, the bathroom had soaps for us and towels waiting. The kitchen was stocked with some spices, cooking oils, some baking pans, silverware, dishware, coffee cups with coffee and a coffee maker. The deck had lots of seating options and a barbecue grill that we definitely took advantage of using! The view was incredible. The bedrooms did not have any heaters, but they do provide heated blankets that are already in the beds for you and controls so you can pick your heat liking. The bear wire system was easy to navigate and turn on/off. We loved all of the important information for us right at the entrance to the house.

Cons: Our only downside would be that there are no stores within 10-30 minutes from us. So I would definitely grab your groceries in town before heading up to the house, which was about 30 minutes from the property.

Pros: De locatie in het algemeen. Rustige buurt. Dicht bij het Tahoe meer.

Cons: Het was niet echt duidelijk hoe we bij aankomst de beren-schrikdraad moesten afzetten. Met als gevolg dat iemand van ons een serieuse electrische schok heeft gekregen.

We loved our stay. The house is in best location, cozy and comfortable and even better IRL compared to photos.

Pros: Great location: we saw bears outside, you are 15min from best hikes in the area, close to all the restaurants in South Lake Tahoe and views on the lake with great sunrise lights Great amenities: the deck is wonderful, all things you need, nice living room couches and tv for evenings and comfortable beds (firm) with electrical blankets so very cozy Very clean too.

Cons: Love a few more pans Bear system can be scary unclear to us if it was working or not
