RiverFront Retreat- Spa/Hot tub

Peaceful, idyllic place to stay.

Pros: The property captured the mood and spirit of the national park in Sequoia. The property was full of rustic charm, the gardens were amazing. The facilities were excellent with it’s hot tub, games room and little gym. The outside had numerous section to sit at and chill. It was peaceful and isolated, and in beautiful surroundings.

Cons: The fact we only had 3 days there and wish we had booked for longer!

Pros: The riverfront setting is excellent—beyond compare. The hot tub room is awesome & was greatly enjoyed. Owner was very responsive.

Cons: There were some condition issues, that prevented this gem from scoring 10, including broken screening on the porch that made sitting outside difficult due to bugs. Also some windows have stripped cranks. None of the decks, outdoor furniture & cushions had been cleaned. Also, it has 3 bedrooms but it should be noted 2 are interconnected. You need to walk through one to get to another & the shared bathroom is in the first bedroom. It’s a great set up for a couple & their children. A little notebook on how to operate things, including unusual door locks, emergency numbers, etc. would be a plus.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful . Everything was what our family needed. The host/owner were very accommodating and responded quickly any time we communicated. If you ever want to sell the property, let's us know, we would love to buy it.

Cons: Master shower was leaking and the floor was compromised because of the leak so we didn't use it, but there is another full size bathroom with a tub and shower, so it wasn't an issue for us, we just wanted to alert you and we aren't complaining.

Peaceful stay in the middle of nature directly by the refreshing river and views of the hills

Pros: The property is at an especially wonderful location, steps from the beautiful river. There is ample seating, a swing and even a hammock on the patios which overlook the river and hills and spending time there while listening to the streaming water is truly relaxing. The children thoroughly enjoyed playing in the stream. The water was very pleasant and refreshing during our stay mid July.

Pros: This place was very quiet n cozy , it has all the amenities you need. The sound of the water flowing behind the property was peaceful . Plus the jacuzzi was awesome for my achey bones 😃. So if your looking to get away and visit sequoia this is the place 🤩👌🙌

Best way to sleep -listening to the river.

Pros: The house was wonderful! The views are spectacular. The beds were so comfortable-we slept like champs! The house was clean and well appointed.

Cons: It seems that the windows will need replacing/fixing soon. I panicked when I opened one and then struggled to close it. The trash compactor door is on it's way out. But everything was clean. This did not make our stay less great.

Perfect location near Sequoia NP

Pros: The property surrounding the house is amazingly beautiful and serene. Great for families with lots of space to dine and hang out together, while still giving everyone plenty of places to chill by themselves.

Cons: It would be helpful to have written instructions for the shower in the master bath and the light switches labeled. The bed in the back bedroom is very firm… too firm for anyone in my family to sleep on but there were only 4 of us so we had other options. Lighting in the bathrooms are poor to satisfactory. All that said, the home is a great value and who’s really spending much time in doors when the grounds and surrounding area is so beautiful!
