Wonderful lodge for groups, convenient to Palisades

Pros: Wonderful place - cozy, homey, clean, beautiful spot next to river, ideal location 3 mi from Palisades and 6 mi from town, good kitchen, comfy living room w fireplace, fantastic deck with gas fire pit & big sauna. Our group couldn’t stop talking about what a great place it is. Will seek it out for future ski trips.

Cons: You’re just off Hwy 89 so lots of road noise. One of three bedrooms (nominally the master) is in the loft & open to living room below, so minimal privacy - something to consider if there are three couples.

Great 3bdr cabin along the Truckee River between Truckee and Olympic Valley entrance.

Pros: My family and I really enjoyed the accommodations and amenities this cabin offered. Only wish was for a longer stay. Went to the cabin expecting some road noise due to proximity but it’s serenely drowned out by the sound of the Truckee River flowing a few yards away. Didn’t get to enjoy the sauna but the hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed after a long day on the hill.
