Peaceful Ranch Home with Sierra Nevada Views

Basis for National Park visit

Pros: We loved the Ranch and its location. It's very close to Sequoia National Park (about 30 minutes from the entrance). A supermarket was close by. The choice of restaurants in Woodlake was limited, but you still have your own kitchen to prepare a meal. All was functional. Three smart TV sets were available for entertainment. WiFi was good, although I didn't test bandwidth. The fridge was spacious and had an ice maker. There was a large washing machine and drier that we could use. Generally, everyone was very happy.

Cons: Not much. Perhaps water pressure was a bit low, but we understand that water use is an issue in California. The fact that TV sets had no cable connection, so you need to work with apps and subscriptions might be challenging for some people... and is not ideal for Europeans as our apps and subscriptions are not available in the US.... unless you're savvy enough to use VPNs. And the use of Fire TVs was cumbersome anyhow. But we didn't come here to watch TV anyway. So it didn't bother us too much. Apart from that, one bedroom lamp wasn't working and the batteries for one TV remote had to be replaced. Peanuts...

Pros: Wunderschön und sehr ruhig gelegen. Gut an ausgestattet.

Pros: Great location and the property was really beautiful! It was quiet, but not too far off the beaten path. The house was well maintained and very cute, although quite old. We liked the charm!

Pros: Logement proche du parc national séquoia qui etait magnifique avec des forêts de séquoia geants .(compter tout de même 1h pour s'y rendre). Logement très bien équipé avec tout ce dont on avait besoin ,la climatisation (il faisait 40°C dehors) , lave linge et sèche linge, lit bébé, 2 salles de bain avec savon. Shampoing et démêlant. cuisine avec plein d'ustensiles et des produits mis à dispositiontel que cafe, epices..... . Suffisamment grand pour 5 personnes. Des jeux et livres pour les enfants. Le propriétaire était très sympa. Hébergement récemment rénové et très agréable.

Cons: Pas grand chose. Nous devions arrêter la climatisation pour faire fonctionner le sèche linge sinon ça pouvait faire disjoncter le courant. Avec cette chaleur, une ligne tendue aurait permis de ne pas utiliser le sèche linge.

Very nice, quiet, peaceful home with the perfect amount of space for a family of 4.

Pros: Updated, laundry available, fire pit, amazing mountain views, screened porches, and a cute binder with a summary of the properly left in the home.

The owners prepared a nice booklet for guests, the house was not a cookie cutter model, good vibes.

Pros: Property backed onto open field with nice view of hills. I could sit on the screened in porch and watch the moon rise. Everything was sparkly clean which is very important to me and ready for us. Owners were responsive when there was a problem.

Cons: Floors squeaked so when one in the party got up at night, it sometimes disturbed others. I was looking forward to seeing stars, but outside lights are on all night, and school soccer field was also lit.
