Beautiful blue house in Yosemite West

Pros: Everything!! I have admired this property for several years as I have stayed in Yosemite West many times before, and I was thrilled to see it was available to rent. It absolutely met all my expectations. Very clean and well equipped, extremely comfortable bedrooms, very spacious property (we are a family of 5 with 3 older teenagers). Lots of bathrooms with sufficient towels. Fully equipped kitchen including full oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Lovely decking area with BBQ. Excellent location for exploring Yosemite as inside the park boundaries and near Glacier Point. WiFi available (v important for teenagers!!). Very helpful property management staff who rang to see if everything was ok after we'd checked in. Very easy check in and accurate information about how to enter the property. I would highly recommend this property, and I was sad to leave!! I would love to stay here again in the future.

Cons: Nothing particularly. It would have been helpful if there was an indication of where to take trash - other properties I've stayed in at Yosemite West have had a designated trash bin outside of the property, even if up the road. It meant taking bags of rubbish in the car until a public bin could be found. It's not a huge problem, though.

Yosemite and Chateau West is a great combination..

Pros: A wonderful stay in Yosemite. Location and setting just exceptional and we would love to return.

Cons: Some points to reflect on: For a hiking/outdoor activity holiday no access to laundry services was a surprise for a large family and would have been welcomed. The 7th bed (sofa bed) in basement games room had not been made up and room required airing (slightly damp smell). Lower floors were noisy given proximity to adjoining apartment (Kitchen/living area of Chateaux East)

Loved hanging out with my family at the Chateau!

Pros: While the property states that it has three bedrooms there are many rooms - the play room has a fold out bed which was great!
