Virginia Creek Settlement

Lovely location, setting, staff and accommodation

Pros: The cabin was very cosy, warm and comfortable even with the snow outside

Pros: This place is a little gem. Their cabins are super cool, comfortable, and warm (we were there late November). They give you a s’mores kit which was a lovely touch. We were a little sad we didn’t stay longer! Close to Bodie the ghost town too.

A great original stay near Yosemite!

Pros: What’s not to like? If you’re looking for a truly original place to stay near Yosemite, than look no further than Virginia Creek Settlement. The different cabins and wagons are amazing, all with their personal fire ring to enjoy some smores at night. The creek and different games set up on the property provide more than ample entertainment. Their pizza’s and Italian inspired food tastes amazing, so no need to venture out for dinner. Overall, this is an amazing stay that will give you great memories.

Fantastic quirky location to spend a night.

Pros: We booked a covered wagon which was really cool and comfy. It was a warm night but there were plenty of blankets if not. Electricpoint for charging and sitting outside with the fire pit listening to the creek was awesome. The whole site is small but cool, next to a road but still really quiet. We had a great dinner in the restaurant . There are fish to feed and outdoor games to play. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place to stay

Pros: The grounds are done really nicely and with great care. Facilities are very clean, the surroundings are beautiful and they provide a really cute care packet including everything to make smores, feed the fish and make coffee in the morning. Sadly we only stayed one night but I'm sure there's a lot more to explore.

Pros: Very clean, comfortabel beds, lots of towels and a little marshmallow chocolat bag for the fireplace. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wagon only in summer!

Pros: The place: beautiful canyon around The bathroom (there's a bathtub!)

Cons: The price (I'm French 😆) I expected a $72 place but actually it was for a wagon (without heater!) so had to take a regular room for $122

Nice tent cabins

Pros: Very nice tent cabin on our way to the Tioga Pass and Yosemite NP. Bodie Ghost Town and Mono Lake are also Not very far Free showers in a seperate building near the cabin, parking in front of the hut. The staff was also friendly. At night it could be cold but there are mkre blankets and heaters in the cabin for this Case.

Cons: A second lamp oder brighter bulb in the only one existing lamp would be nice. In the Corner with the table and chairs it's really dark after Sunset!
