A pretty place

Pros: The motel was in a great location. It was really pretty on the outside and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean. Good value for money for a short stay.

Cons: The room was small and the water pressure in the shower was a little low but we felt that these didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

Pros: Friendly staff, great value for money. Was perfect for a one night stay.

Pros: Very sympathetic host. Very good hotel with nice garden. Good shower and comfortable bed. The town is really cosy.

We always book here when we travel this route and will continue to do so.

Pros: Love how the rooms are decorated so different from all the regular motels. The larger fridge and freezer, as we travel with a picnic that needs to be kept cold for the next day of our journey. The staff are lovely.

Cons: Coffee in the morning would be nice either in the room or in the lobby but my husband goes up the road to the garage and brings it back so no real problem.

Cute Hotel, Comforable Room, Nice Staff.

Pros: The hotel is really cute and the parking lot was very well lit. We would stay here again.

Was just what I expected & good value for money

Cons: Shower in the morning wasn't that hot, bed could have been a bit comfier. Otherwise all good. Recommended

Stylish economy in Los Banos

Pros: This property is a real gem. Although the dimensions of the room were smallish, the added interior design touches were very nice, a surprise considering that the room costs a lot less than other area accommodations. Who expects a coved ceiling in a motel room or tiled shower? The owner has installed huge arrays of solar panels on all three roofs, which he is working with PG&E to activate. He also plans to have EV charging stations on the property in the future. It may be called the Economy Inn but it feels like much more.

Cons: Could use a box of tissue paper in the rooms, a small quibble.

Comfortable and clean

Pros: Friendly and welcoming proprietor. Good location on main road, so close to places to eat etc. But can hear traffic noise, although wasn't a problem to us.

Cons: It was what we expected, so no real issues.

I look forward to staying at the Economy Inn for my birding mini-vacations in the Central Valley.

Pros: Staff are always knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The architectural style inside and out, along with the landscaping, adds a touch of individuality not found in chain motels. The room is comfortable, has a fridge and microwave, plenty of hot water and parking is right out front. Economy Inn is conveniently located and a perfect base for visiting the Merced National Wildlife Refuge.
