Very nice stay in Tahoe Lake

Pros: Very nice hosts. A family business with a special flair for guests. Everything was a bit small like the rooms or the breakfast room. But the good breakfast and the service were very good. Would stay there again

Quaint lodge close to everything and filled with amenities!

Pros: Highlight of the trip! The lodge is decked out with activities, snacks, drinks, etc. Breakfast was fantastic, bikes were available to use (perfect for July 4th weekend with lots of traffic), even a trailer was attached to one of the bikes to bring our toddler along. The couple who owns the lodge is amazing, they're so sweet and attentive. We told them we were leaving early and they even left some breakfast in our room the night before! They have sweet pups that are roaming and my toddler adored them, smores and happy hour nightly, great recommendations for places to go. The cabin itself is quaint and exactly the vibe we were looking for when being in Tahoe. Kitchen was decked out and we loved the booth/table to sit at.

Cons: Woke up with sore neck/back from the mattress/pillows, but we didn't expect a fancy bed.

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff; Quick drive to hiking trails, ski resort and other amenities but still very quiet; Rooms are tastefully decorated with a spacious bathroom ; Great tasting breakfast waffle

Pros: A wonderful old school motel with a great and quiet location on South Lake Tahoe. Run by a lovely family!

Great value for authentic Tahoe lodge brimming with warm hospitality!

Pros: Authentic charming Tahoe property. Awesome hospitality. Family run. Provided breakfast, happy hour and smores! Great value. Super location for family ski trip to Heavenly.

Pros: Familieres Flair mit ganz viel Charme und sehr vielen schönen Momenten. Gratis Velo, toller Souvenir Shop im Haus und fantastisches Frühstück sowie toller Service.

Pros: Very couteous and friendly staff, generous snacks and food durong brealfast and happy hour! location is perfect! love the quaint cozy cabin. Per friendly . Will come back again for our next winter trip!

Tolle Unterkunft für Familien

Pros: Für unsere Kinder die schönste Unterkunft im ganzen Urlaub! Sehr aufgeschlossene Betreiber mit guten Tipps für die nähere Umgebung und die weitere Reise. Tolles Frühstück, dass wir Dank der kleinen Küche im Zimmer individuell anpassen konnten. Besonders hilfreich war für uns das Außengelände, hier konnten wir Grillen, Tischtennis spielen oder einfach am Lagerfeuer sitzen.

Cons: Wir haben kurzfristig gebucht und leider das Zimmer neben der Eismaschine bekommen. Die ist einfach zu laut, ich habe mit Ohrstöpseln geschlafen.

Best option on a busy weekend.

Pros: The breakfast had multiple options and was very good. I liked the creative use of space and decoration that the current owners have achieved. Also, the staff allowed us to borrow their bikes after we had checked out and return them later in the day.

Cons: This is a roadside lodge, so the noise of Hwy 89 at night and in the morning is constant, especially during high season. we made the mistake of waiting to the last minute to book a room during the busiest time of the year.
