Cottage Inn At Lake Tahoe

We had a lovely stay at the cottage inn and hope to return in the future!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at the cottage inn. When we arrived we were given an upgrade free of charge to a larger room. The cabin was clean, cosy and comfortable. Every morning we received a lovely breakfast at our requested time. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The location was ideal, very quiet and right next to 4 different restaurants/cafes and a little market. On our first day we saw 2 bears! We look forward to returning in the future.

Cons: It would have been nice to be informed what the main dish was each morning for breakfast so we knew whether we wanted to order it or not. As with pretty much every accommodation we have used it would be nice if the room included a toaster, in case we wanted to stay in for lunch or dinner we could easily just have toast or a bagel to eat.

Amazing spot. Will be there again for sure.

Pros: Amazing owners and staff. Super accommodating. Breakfasts were great couldn’t have been happier!

Pros: Staff was super friendly, the breakfast was amazing!!! Easy, quick drive to the resorts to snowboard.

Pros: We arrived at night and I loved how much lighting there was with all the string lights, it was a very cute environment. The bed was super comfortable and the cabin stayed very warm. We also walking over to the beach (even with snow) which gave us great views of the lake. I would 100% stay again, maybe in the summer too!

Cons: There didn't seem an option to request vegetarian breakfast, it was hard to know what the 'main dish' would be and if it would contain meat.

Lake Tahno!

Pros: A really lovely setting and small group of accomodations, which all look Hansel and Gretel cute. Especially with the lights on at night. Great shower and bath with a small terrace with table and chairs

Cons: The ornate headboard on the bed was made up of a couple lengths of twisted tree branch. Both of us hit our heads on more than one occasion. I don't watch a lot of TV when I'm on holiday but, on the odd occasion I want to catch up on news or some such, its nice to see the whole TV. The, again ornate and wooded surrounding for the TV obscured about 3\

Pros: Everything is excellent, it is amazing when stay in cottage but it is a little bit hot in the summer.

Cons: A little bit hot in summer, we need to open the window to have some air.

Pros: The private beach and the breakfast box delivered to the room were the best. We walked down the beach to see the sunrise over the lake and we loved it. Would be happy to stay here again.

Was a magical stay, especially after the fresh snowfall.

Pros: Loved that each room was unique and special. Also loved that breakfast arrived at your door every morning so you could enjoy a quiet meal by your fireplace.

Cons: Nothing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Wonderfull place! We particularly enjoyed the breakfast system

A beautiful, memorable getaway!

Pros: The property is beautiful and magical. The location is wonderful; near the beach and lake, great restaurants and a lovely market. The room was very cozy and furnished beautifully; we didn’t want to leave!

Cons: Nothing!
