Pros: The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. All the amenities worked and all the equipment and the kitchen supplies were there to use. We really enjoyed our stay!

Pros: This lovely place surpassed our expectations and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to experience the area. It is quite and peaceful with an incredible front yard, fireplace, private parking. They had everything we could need stocked and ready: coffee, tea, pots/pan, plenty of dishes /glass/ paper cups, coffee maker, BBQ grill out side and Table Tennis . The house is clean and beds comfortable, towels and bed sheet is luxurious. We had great experience and diffentlly will come again.. Simply it felt like home away from home as I am spending my three weeks vacation in California and this was my best staying .. Thanks alot

Very cosy and clean

Pros: So clean and so cosy, very nice atmosphere, very comfortable, super king size beds, friendly people, would love to stay here again...

Cons: No dish washer, no washing machine Important for hikers to know that the drive to the center of yosemite valley takes about one and a half hour.

Yosemite homebase

Pros: We really liked it at Sierra Sunset Cottage. The house is spacious, comfortable and homely. From the kitchen to the wifi and the TV we did not miss a thing to make our stay a nice one. The house is well placed for trips into Yosemite, and nearby Oakhurst und Mariposa have supermarkets and many different restaurants.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind!

A hidden gem!

Pros: The property was perfect for our family trip to the yosemitte area it is spacious, comfortable, and spotless. It was a wonderful property to stay in. Nestled between yosemitte and Sierra forest with close links to oakhurst and mariposa. A wonderful time was had at sierra sunset cottage, highly recommend staying here!

A perfect stay

Pros: The owners made us feel like we were at home with their hospitality! There was coffee, milk, brownies, toiletries, water, anything you can imagine. There was a table tennis table, bbq, free parking, we had everything we needed! It was perfect!

Home away from home

Pros: The calmness, the space in the cottage, the kitchen, the facilities provided like bedsheets, towels etc. Location was nice, few minutes from Oakhurst & 1 hr from Yosemite. Good value for money. We loved the kitchen which was fully equipped. Great place to stay for a family of 4.

Cons: Bathroom, especially the size & the shower knobs which were quite old. The shower curtain rod was loose as well.

Pros: It was a cozy and nice apartment with a lot of additional equipment like games, movies and kitchen things. The whole apartment was very clean and it we felt home right away! We would definitely recommend staying there!
