Creekside Cabin about 20 Mi to Kings Canyon Park!

The cabin was ideal for our holiday. It was peaceful and a short walk to a beautiful sunset spot.

Pros: Location and the cabin were excellent. Cosy and comfortable.

The experience was very magical

Pros: We arrived very late and it was very dark, travelled with very tired kids and not to mention that we got lost too! All our fault, BUT just imagine the scenario that I was in. The following day, I woke up to a very beautiful cabin (which I like to now call enchanted cottage!) Everything was picture perfect. I felt like I woke up in a fairytale. The next day, we went to King’s canyon and my kids were rushing us to go back to the cabin! Apparently there’s everything for everybody in the cabin! Bonfire, river, books, flowers and of course wifi for my 3rd grader. We will come back next time, but for sure we will just be staying in the cabin and not go anywhere else

All in all it loved it. The hosts gave us a very personal experience which seems rare these days.

Pros: Next to stream and as we entered there was a hand written note from the owners. The cabin smelled of fresh pine and tinge of smoke from fires. Lovely and quaint! There was coffee already there, plenty of towels, a VERY cozy and warm feel to the whole place. It was very much what I was looking for and what was advertised.

Cons: The stairs up to the top are a little in the way and we hit our heads a few times. Not sure if there is another arrangement that flow slightly better? Also the fridge only got down to 43 even after a full night stay fully closed. It’s a cool old one and I didn’t spend much time looking at it but maybe it was some setting. It is a good hour to the park, but for the remote location I didn’t mind - we didn’t see another person in the area!

Pros: Vous pouvez réserver chez Jacob et Meredith les yeux fermés. Vous serez en pleine nature dans une maison très belle et très bien pensée. Tout y est confortable et particulièrement la literie et les couettes. Le poêle est également un vrai plus !

Pros: Super romantisches Holzhaus mitten im Wald. Das Haus wurde mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gebaut. Es ist etwas über 50 min vom National Park entfernt, die Fahrt muss man leider auf sich nehmen. Es lohnt sich allerdings sehr!

Pros: Quiet, remote, and lovely little touches and amenities that made us feel welcomed. I took advantage of the fresh walnuts and cider.

Cons: Changing the water jug for the potable water was... Tricky, and we had a hard time with all of us using that water for hiking. But I also understand it's what needs to happen when you're that remote.

Such an amazing experience! One we will never forget!

Pros: This is a beautiful cabin that is so charming! We rented the cabin while visiting King’s Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. It has two bedrooms and a loft with a bed. The entire inside has the most amazing decorations and furnishings! We loved the back deck that is so large and has a giant picnic table! We loved all the extra little touches like a guest book to sign, books taking about the history of the cabin and area, and vintage decorations!It was so cozy and such a fun stay!

Cons: It is a remote cabin that has very windy, narrow roads leading to it, but it is worth the drive! Very scenic! The property owner was very upfront about this from the start!

Geweldig

Pros: Wat een ontzettend gezellig boshuisje is dit! Zo leuk ingericht. Heerlijk om hier te zijn na een drukke reis en er wat dagen bij te komen, we hadden spijt dat we niet langer geboekt hadden.

Cons: De afstand naar bezienswaardigheden is wat groter, maar dat wisten we vantevoren. En je zit echt in het bos, we zagen veel muggen, een muisje, kikkertjes. Maar dat hoort er bij!

Pros: Koel en zeer rustig gelegen in de bergen. Ydillisch, ideaal voor bezoek aan kings en sequoia national park.

Une belle découverte

Pros: La cabine est splendide. Chaleureuse, accueillante. Et bien équipée. Le cadre est magnifique avec une belle terrasse. Dommage que la machine à laver soit hors service.

Cons: La route sinueuse et un peu longue pour arriver au Park. Cela nous demander 1h environ de route en montagne pour accéder. Et le fait d’être un peu loin de tout.
