Yosemite Big Rock Cabin

Pros: lovely cabin with very comfortable living space and great wrap around veranda. Excellent location, only 5-10 minute drive to south entrance of the park which was great!

Excellent family or group accommodation!

Pros: Although, this property was an hour from Yosemite visitor center it was great! It was private, a beautiful setting and the house was immaculate! Even though the facility could use a few updates the area was too beautiful to complain. We were there in May so a heads up in the summer it might be pretty warm! There is an Ac downstairs (where bedrooms are) but not sure about up! Lots of movies, games and toys for kids.

Cons: Would of loved 4 comfy chairs on the deck but that’s being really picky!

Relaxing and excellent

Pros: Location and the aesthetic of the cabin. The scenery was exceptional as well ! Good place to relax and unwind from all noises and stress !

Cons: The blankets provided smelled really bad , so we didn’t have anything to use as a cover during the night. Plus they didn’t provide the basic spices in the kitchen ( ex :salt) which was a downside.

Stunning property in great location

Pros: Location and spaciousness. Nice deck to enjoy in summer. Very close to the Yosemite route 41 entrance.

Cons: There are no shopping facilities nearby apart from the small General Store . The second closest is Oakhurst, 12 miles away.

Accommodations were perfect for our group of eight.

Pros: Convenient location, close to South Entrance. Cabin was spacious and comfortable.

Cons: Somewhat difficult to find.

Nice place close to Tenaya with comfy beds, perfect for cold weather, but no filtered water.

Pros: the location is perfect for events at Tenaya. You're not too far from the park, but to get to the Yosemite valley, it takes an hour if that's your main reaason for coming. The chek in process was easy. The house had plenty of stuff for cooking, including a microwave. The beds were very comfy & the hosts responded quickly to inquiries

Cons: The main issue I had was that i planned ahead for what to pack, and reached out to the hosts to ask them about what's in the pantry. Specifically, I asked if there were coffee filters or a coffee grinder, since I could see the house had a coffee maker. They responded that neither of those things were available, so i went out and purchased ground coffee and filters, instead of bringing my whole bean coffee. Upon arrival, I saw there were hundreds of coffee filters, as well as a coffee grinder. This host uses a corporate management company, so they won't really know what is in the house, which is a bummer for people who want to pack accordingly. There's not much for shops nearby other than small \

Très belle maison à l entrée de Yosemite

Pros: L emplacement pas loin de Mariposa grove. La grandeur de la maison. La belle terrasse avec le barbecue. Les 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain pour 3 couples c est très bien même si une salle de bain n est pas au même étage que la chambre.

Cons: Les tâches sur les chaises, il faudrait remplacer les poêles dans la cuisine et qu il y ai un peu plus de vaisselle. Le 2eme barbecue qui ne fonctionne plus et qui est aussi sur la terrasse. La table extérieure très sale.

Pros: Je pense qu'il manquait des verres et aussi du sel au moins.

Cons: Les verres, quelque produit de premiere necessite serait super

Great cabin for Yosemite vacation

Pros: Lovely and roomy cabin, exceptionally clean, and good location. We stayed after record-breaking winter storms, so we were concerned about accessing the cabin. The roads were plowed up to the cabin, though we did have to finish shoveling our way to the door. Very good heating system, plenty of hooks for winter coats, and a wood stove - it has everything you need for a winter stay.
