Pros: Great location right on the river with amazing views. Short drive into the national forest. Staff were great. Our cabin was perfect for a family of 4 and it was a short walk into kernville to the restaurants and bars.

Cons: Just one aircon unit for the cabin, it was a little noisy to leave on through the night, but even in August the temperature dropped enough in the evening so the cabin was fine.

Best 4 days of my trip

Pros: Peaceful & Tranquil location overlooking the river kern. Impeccably clean all across the resort including the cabin. We stayed in cabin 29 and absolutely loved every second of it. Has everything you need and located 5 minute walk to local store where you can buy everything you’d need including fishing license for the state of California. Highly recommend this place and if I return I would definitely stay here again for longer next time. We even met George the big brown bear! Thank you Cheryl and team x

You will not be disappointed if you rent this cabin.

Pros: The whole experience was exceptional. I have been camping in the area for many years and tried this cabin for a change. The cabin fit all of my needs and then some. The fire pit, barbeque and picnic table were an added bonus. Plenty of great fishing and local stores/restaurants completed the package. I plan on coming back with the rest of the family this summer.

Cons: NO complaints.

Herziges Häuschen

Pros: Das Häuschen steht neben weiteren Häuschen und ist innen sauber, aber natürlich ist das Platzangebot begrenzt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und der Parkplatz neben dem Häuschen ist kostenlos.

Cons: Für die Kinder waren die Betten nicht vorbereitet und wir mussten improvisieren.

Couples night away

Pros: The cabin was absolutely perfect. Location was great, a true hidden gem. We were extremely comfortable, a well needed night of pure relaxation . Greeted by the staff upon arrival, accommodations for late check in were fantastic. We look forward to returning soon.

Cons: We were bummed our visit was so short. Next time we will definitely stay longer. Pleasantly surprised!
