Wonky Donkey Den 30 mi to Yosemite Arch Entrance

Great accommodation in a quiet location and with donkeys :-)

Pros: It was very spacious, clean, very well equipped kitchen and bathroom (incl. washing machine and dryer), TV in living room and bedroom, large shower. We also really liked the two donkeys. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights.

Ideal place to stay for Yosemite

Pros: This place is a gem! It's located in a lovely spot, surrounded by greenery. The local supermarket is not too far away & more importantly, so is the entrance to Yosemite National Park. The accommodation is well-appointed, with all of our needs met. No hesitation in recommending the Wonky Donkey.

Pros: wow , an amazing little piece of heaven in the hills of Mariposa, from the charming welcome from Misty and Shadow to the peaceful beautiful surroundings we couldn’t have asked for more

Pros: Everything is perfect! I can only recommend it! Very clean and well-equipped accommodation with all the necessary comforts. Quietly located near Mariposa, we loved spending time in and around the accommodation and with the 2 amazing donkeys. They're incredible. We have also seen deers and their babies from the accommodation. We'd really like to thank Glen for the accommodation he offers and for the chat we had with him, during which he explained his passion!

Best stay in the USA

Pros: A wonderful stay in a wonderful place. Spacious and cosy at the same time. Very thoughtful decor. The cottage was equipped beyond our expectations. There was an enclosure of two donkeys next door, which stole our hearts from the moment we arrived. A truly brilliant atmosphere.

Cons: This place had no drawbacks.

Great location as a base for exploring Yosemite.

Pros: Easy to find. Good location. Really comfortable. Really well equipped for a stay as a home from home.

Cons: We should have stayed here longer!

Amazing tranquil stay.

Pros: Such a lovely property. All of the amenities and a lovely peaceful location. Shadow and Frosty (the donkeys) were an added treat. Would 100% recommend. Absolutely loved it.

Great accommodation in great location

Pros: We had a great time here. You have a whole cottage for your self that is equipped with everything you need. The donkeys have their area directly next to the accommodation, they are curios and friendly and they like to keep you company when you sit outside. Glen and Teresa are great hosts and will support you in case of questions. The location is also perfect, short drive into town where you can find nice restaurants and a big supermarket. Within about one hour you reach the Yosemite National Park via a nice scenic route. So overall we were more than happy here and would definitely come back when we have the chance one day.

Pros: The location was excellent! The atmosphere is very relaxed, tranquil. We had everything we needed to cook our meals, take long relaxing showers, and sleep comfortably every night. There is even a washer and dryer in the home! We sat outside to enjoy the peace and quiet. And were delighted to watch deer and wild turkeys walk around the property. The owners two donkeys are absolutely adorable. And the owners provide you with donkey approved treats to feed them :) I am so happy that we found this gem of a place to stay during our visit to Yosemite National Park. We were only a 30-40 minute drive to the Arch Entrance.

Heerlijk verblijf!

Pros: Geweldig vakantie huisje met als naaste buren 2 gezellige ezeltjes die je komen begroeten in de ochtend en de avond. De eigenaren zorgen voor lekkers zodat je voldoende interactie met ze hebt. Het huis is royaal en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het ligt ook heel rustig en in de ochtend geniet je van de hertjes en kalkoenen die er rond lopen. Op de veranda zit je heerlijk met je koffie. Op 45 min met de auto ben je in Yosemite. De eigenaren zijn betrokken met hun gasten en informeren of alles naar wens is. Perfect adres voor bezoek aan Yosemite. Nabijgelegen dorp biedt een toffe diner en een goede supermarkt.
