Secluded rustic 3-bedroom cabin on private land

Amazing place, but make sure to be prepared!

Pros: We loved the location and design of the cabin. Really is the perfect place to disconnect. Its location to all the good sites in Sequoia is amazing. The views are beautiful. Very quiet, and surrounded in Nature. Great place!!.

Cons: We had lots of confusion on arrival. There is 0 reception at arrival, so I suggest people make sure they have everything downloaded and fully read all check-in instructions before going. Make sure to know your Cabin # because the booking emails dont tell you. (((Before you book, there are no signs that you will have to make your own beds, provide your own soap, and towels.))) It was a shock arriving and needing to make all 3 beds and no towels to shower off. The lighting in the upstairs bedroom has no place to plug in the light, so it is literally there for looks only. There are coffee and coffee filters but no coffee pot. The living room of this cabin was very uncomfortable, and it could use a couch instead of stadium seating (Stadium seats look cool, just not practical for a family). The back sliding door was really hard to open or close, and the lock was broken. So you couldn't lock the door. This is more like luxury camping in an old cabin. I was angry when I arrived, but very quickly fell in love with the place. If they could just correct the small things, it would be perfect. THINGS SHOULD BE CLEAR AT THE TIME OF BOOKING on what to expect. 🙂 Also we didn't have WIFI as expected. I saw a starlink plate next door to our cabin, but it never showed or worked. Also, if you don't have experience with an old wood burning stove, you won't have any heat in the place. There isn't a heater. So make sure you know how to use one. Luckily I had one as a child. PLACE IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY, JUST THE FLAWS ABOVE NEED TO BE KNOWN FOR FUTURE STAYS. Sorry to seem like I have lots of complaints, just want to give honest opinion from someone traveling with kids. Im still very grateful to have found the place, and next time I'll be prepared, and it will be better. 😁 In the end it was best trip in many years!!
