Perfect mountain getaway!
Pros: The location was the perfect hub for our trips to Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon. Close to restaurants and groceries and shops. Easy access from the Fresno airport. It was even close enough to the coast to make a daytrip out to Monterey. The cabin was idyllic - so quiet and scenic. We frequently saw deer in the back yard. The place was spacious and very well maintained and had all the needed amenities.

Relaxing and enjoyable
Pros: The location, the multi level home, fire pit, room for dogs and kids to run, comfortable beds, tons of room for two families, game room, large desk for kids to sit. Etc etc etc.
Cons: The pickers/thorns on the wildflowers. Great to look at, not for dogs. lol. They are everywhere and natural to the area so there’s not much that could be done to solve that.

Great stay and highly recommended. I'm glad we found this pet friendly location.
Pros: Great location away from the city. Short drive through Sierra National Forest to check out Yosemite. Grocery was close enough and we brought almost everything we needed. A great deck to drink coffee in the morning to watch the sun rise for the start the day. There was some deer walking around the property when we returned in the afternoon and the neighbor has a couple horses but we didn't speak to them. There is a smart TV in the living room for the evening relaxation.
Cons: The oven and stove were really old but I think it gives a \

Wonderful accomodation-clean, roomy and tastefully decorated.
Pros: One of the most important features to us was that we could bring our dogs and that there was a lot of yard for them to run and play in. Secondly, we appreciated that there were three bedrooms each with a queen size or larger bed. The home had a lot of style and nice pieces of decor that made it interesting, yet not cluttered. The fireplace was nice in the evening. The kitchen had all the kitchenware we needed. This was important to us since we cooked breakfast and dinner each day. Bedrooms 1 and 3 had comfortable beds. The 3 bathrooms made it convenient for the 6 of us with a baby. There was a sufficient supply of new or newish, thick comfy towels and washcloths.
Cons: A few things - In bedroom 2, the mattress was very hard and super uncomfortable. While there were a lot of updates, the oven looked like it was from the 1970s and was small, so the larger baking sheets didn't fit. Also, the listing says that the house accommodates 8 people, however, the living room only comfortably seats 5 people. If you're staying for more than a day or two, you'll want to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and some kitchen dishcloths and dish towels. As to be expected, groceries are pretty expensive. Since it was a holiday stay we had to go to Bass Lake since the North Fork market was closed the day before Christmas Eve. You'll need to bring all the ingredients you need to cook if you are planning to cook. There were a few things like pepper and salt and a bit of oil. The check-out time, 10 am, was a bit earlier than we would have liked, especially when traveling with a baby. But I get it, it takes a lot to clean a house that big before the next guests arrive.
