Beautiful rustic cabin
Pros: Very quaint rustic cabin had everything we needed.
Cons: Bathroom could be updated. Firewood should be provided for this price. Sauna and jacuzzi need some electrical maintenance.

It was very nice. Just a few tweeks would make it perfect. You were very nice.
Pros: The location is wonderful. I have been going to the cabins in Wawona for 50 years. I love it there! I have stayed in Acorn Alley (aka Cabin 77) many, many times over the past 20 years. It's the only cabin we like to take our dogs to due to the large, semi-enclosed deck. That makes it so nice to sit outside and enjoy the scenery with our dog. My husband loved the jacuzzi! The addition of the laundry is also nice! And we loved the fire pit on the deck. The soap dispensers were very nice. A lot of the watercolor paintings were very pretty! And thank you for the water and goodies in the fridge!
Cons: The stairs to the jacuzzi are scary! They are very steep, and some of them actually tilt down a tad, which is very disconcerting when you are going down the stairs in the dark. A light there would be nice. The king size bed is nice, but very hard. (To each their own I guess.) One or two cookie sheets in the kitchen would be wonderful. The shower curtain replacing the missing sliding glass door in the shower was tacky. There was very little water pressure in the shower. The sign on the fireplace said it was a burn ban day, but according to someone in the area, the burn ban was lifted on October 1. A lot of people love to use a fireplace in the woods, it makes for a homey atmosphere. A light on both sides of the bed would be nice. There wasn't one on the side of the bed, so to turn off the switch on the wall, you had to walk across the dark room to get in bed. There was only one trash bag for us for 5 days. Luckily, I brought more. The evacuation map in the bedroom needs to be updated, since the side stairs are no longer there. We miss those side stairs - there were only 2 or 3, but now we have 6 to climb, and we're not getting any younger. :) Also the new concrete step that was installed at the bottom of the main stairs is VERY steep. As I mentioned before, gates at the tops of the stairs would be wonderful. Dogs and children could easily fall down the stairs or just go down and wander off into the woods. Accidents do happen. The ceiling light in the dining/kitchen area was flashing. My husband looked at it and said it seems to be a disposable fixture, not just a bulb. (It is on the side of the exhaust fan housing, over the deer head statue hanging on the wall.) Storing the extra beds in the closet made hanging our clothes very difficult. And, like everything else, the price has gone up considerably!
