Local to Sugar Bowl Ski Resort (15 minute drive): A great spot for two people + dog!

Pros: Lots of room for two people. The kitchen had super nice appliances. A reviewer had said there was not enough utensils, but they must have remedied that because there was at least 6 sets. The house temperature was easy to control. We didn't bother with the fire stove. We also didn't barbecue. Thank you for allowing dogs! The shower had good water pressure but ran out of hot water after one shower. The upstairs large bed was very comfortable.

Cons: There's no mudroom to take off your shoes. There's a 2-foot by 6-foot counter at which you can eat which is cramped and part of the kitchen/living room space. IMHO they should convert the downstairs bedroom into a mud room because the house is too small to host 4 people comfortably anyway. We were just 2 and couldn't imagine two more people. Know before you go: there's restaurants about 8 miles away, so you should pack to cook in. There was no large frying pan, only two small ones, and no cookie sheet, but otherwise the kitchen is well-stocked.
