A fun and comfortable stay in a friendly hostel — perfect stopover for exploring Bishop and the Eastern Sierra!

Pros: The hostel has a great vibe with a cozy common area and friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect for travelers passing through Bishop or exploring nearby natural spots. Rooms and facilities were clean, and check-in was smooth. Loved the kitchen setup and the community feel — great place to meet fellow travelers.

Cons: Parking space was a bit limited, and the walls are thin, so you might hear some noise at night — but nothing major.

Pros: The bed (lower bunk) was comfortable. Six in a room was crowded. Nice to be able to chat to other travellers. Plenty of outdoor space. Great value for money.

Unique place for travellers and people looking for an authentic Californian experience

Pros: The building and outside area are just unique! Everything is vintage but cool, the atmosphere is so cozy, like living at a friend’s house

Lovely hostel in a beautiful house

Pros: This is a nice place full of character. It looked like a very popular place for climbers so a young community in general. The communal kitchen area is fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, storage area, big fridges, microwave etc... and was buzzing in the morning with hikers making home made cooked breakfasts. The communal sitting area is relaxed with books, music, sofa etc... The private room/shower room is clean and the place is quiet at night (be prepared to be up early as this is a youth hostel with a range of people coming in and out). There is street parking and it seemed that the neighbourhood was safe.

Cons: You have to pay at the property (which is not a problem for us) but someone in the review mentioned it was cash only so I was prepared for that where in fact they took card only. So plan for it in your budget!!!
