Little tipi overnight stop

Pros: We stayed in tipi it was best halfway point stop between death valley and Yosemite stop for us. Being from Australia we had to try the tipi in the small town. Pulling up we were not sure but walked into the cute little Cafe to check in and greeted by bubbly Alice? (Sorry I we forgot if it was Alice or not) We noticed they did burgers and decided to go clean up in the neat lil shower rooms and rest up for a bit in our tipi. We really wanted to watch the world series....Alice got it up on the TV for us and we enjoyed some beers and great burger and chips while meeting another lovely older couple who joined us for the game. Great little charming place.

Hidden gem in the desert.

Pros: Exceptionally unique stay for foreign tourists such as ourselves. Perfect for a one night stopover for a roadtrip through the desert. Close enough to neighbouring towns with good bars and restaurants and also Mount Whitney. Beds comfortable. Staff very friendly and chatty with a family vibe. Nice pool area. Fans and water coolers available in our tent.

Cons: Tent was not 'lockable' however we generally felt safe at all times.

Pros: We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is also a wonderful café on the hotel grounds where the food is absolutely delicious.

Pros: The Tipi was very nice, bed was comfortable and it had a mini fridge, fans and blankets. We could park the car next to our Tipi, which was very convenient. Toilets and showers were shared but clean and well taken care of.

Cons: Make sure you bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

Pros: Wow we were in a family deluxe room which had been recently renovated. It was lovely. Clean and cool. Would stay again. Staff were all so helpful and food in the cafe was great. Far exceeded our expectations.
