Exactly the kitschy hotel I was looking for!
Pros: I was looking for a cool old hotel that had a lot of character. I really fit the bill. Historical building with a really cool look. The room was cozy very clean and quite. It was walkable to a bunch or really good restaurants as well. The staff was super friendly and able to give some great restaurant recommendations. For being on the main road I didnt hear any traffic noise. Will definitely be bakc next time IM in the area.
Cons: I liked it all, lots of hot water, There was a small tv (but i wasnt there to watch tv so who cares)

Pros: Direct by the highway, good parking before and back the building possible
Cons: We found a dead cockroach on the floor, and there were only 3 towels for 4 travellers, otherwise the room was OK

A perfect stopover.
Pros: It was a great stopover location on our journey from Yosemite to Death Valley. We especially liked the central main street location and being close to restaurants, cafes and bars. Lone PIne is lovely town and we enjoyed our visit to the film museum and our drive around the Alabama Hills.
Cons: Nothing!

Lovely accommodation on the Lone Pine Main Street
Pros: The property is well-placed as a starting point for hikes around Mt Whitney area. It was my second stay here so I knew what to expect - a clean room and friendly staff in a lovely building on the Lone Pine Main Street.
Cons: Our sleep was distracted by a noisy air condition in our room as well as in some room nearby, so switching off our unit has not sorted the problem. The accommodation value felt more favourable during a low season (February 2024) than now (high season in August 2024).
