SpringHill Suites by Marriott Madera

We were in town for a funeral and both the location and pleasantness of the hotel made our time in Madera more bearable.

Pros: Breakfasts were great! Room style/decor very nice. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons: Walls were thin and since we were right by the elevator, we heard it every time it was being used. Also, the street noises came thru from outside easily as well as some draftiness.

Pros: Clean hotel, Nice location with a very close restaurant (no need to drive) Very good hot breakfast.Glad to see a variety of morning beverages including hot chocolate for kids and anyone really. Nice young man at the registration desk explained why an extra charge of $3 when I had already signed for a $3.50 incidentals charge, he said I would get the amount back -- we'll see if I get the 3 & 3.50 ..

Cons: The lights on the bed did not work at all. The room had a draft from the balcony window but it was closed. Breakfast should go until 10 am on weekends, especially with the heavy Tulley fog, people are stressed out, get in late & would like to get a few more 💤 & get up at 7 instead of 5.

Pros: This was the first time staying at this hotel. It did not dissapoint.Everything had a touch of luxary. Breakfast was very good, staff was informative and friendly. The parking lot was well lit. Places to eat near by.Wonderful stay.

Great place for frequent travelers.

Pros: I love this location as I have family living in Madera that I often visit. The location and its facilities are great. The breakfast is nice. I love the rooms - they are comfortable, clean, and spacious.

Cons: My only complaint is the noise. The walls are very thin at this hotel and you can always hear your neighbors. Also, the outside noise can be easily heard, especially the music from the Black Bear dinner and the Big Bear gas station/market across the way.

Perfect Place to stay and rejuvenate before hitting the road!

Pros: This motel was very clean and the location was perfect for us to be able to go hunting the following day. The hotel was very welcoming and made the check in process smooth. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and the parking lot and surrounding areas are fairly safe. Upon entering the main lobby, continental breakfast and coffee are served just to the right of you. We were here for just a quick of night stay but everything was perfect and allowed us the refresh and hit the road.

Cons: There really isn't anything negative to write from our stay. Breakfast was served starting at 7AM so we missed breakfast because we were out hunting early in the morning. So maybe if they could have had hot and fresh coffee in the lobby. But everything was perfect for our stay!

Pros: Very welcome stay upon late arrival. Rooms are clean and well maintained. We appreciated the fact that they don't use fragrance in the hotel and bedding.
