AutoCamp Yosemite

Very memorable stay - cool and eco-friendly

Pros: Such a cool place. Loved the air-streamer. Great amenities - very tasty free muesli in the morning. Super friendly staff

Pros: Location amazing. Very clean. Excellent facilities. Loved our stay. Such a unique experience! Impressed with technology and set up in the airstream.

Cons: We were told upon arrival that a wedding was happening on the second night of our stay. The music was turned off at 10pm but until then it was really quite loud at times and not quite the relaxing natural atmosphere promised with this location. Just some notice upon booking would have been appreciated. I appreciate this is not a common event and other than that, the place was absolutely amazing!

A lovely place to stay if you’re happy to drive 1 hour to Yosemite

Pros: Facilities were really good and it felt like you had all the comforts you needed despite staying in an airstream. The main reception was really nice area and interesting design.

Cons: The main area lacked comfortable seating and private spacing so if you wanted to sit at the bar it meant sitting in communal seating on uncomfortable chairs. We had just got engaged so stayed at our rooms for a bit more privacy. It was a long way from Yosemite which we hadn’t realised when booking.

Pros: Bed was comfy and we slept very well. Bathroom was very good. Quite a fun experience staying in an airstream with all the fittings of a good hotel room. Good sized outdoor area with table that can seat 4 plus a firepit that doubles as a stove. Well equipped with everything for cooking.

Cons: It's a much bigger operation than the photos and marketing let on - nearly 100 airstreams/cabins/tents. We were under the impression it was more exclusive/private. It's still at least an hour drive into Yosemite, minimum. You will get stuck in traffic or there will be a slow driver infront of you. They could do so much more with the clubhouse and turn it into more of a restaurant with more food options. It felt a little understaffed at times with 1 person doing reception, bar and food orders. It's too expensive for what it is, and the shop is overpriced.

Pros: The free morning granola, tea and coffee was a great way to start the days. The kids loved the pool. We took part in free stargazing and a movie night. The food and drink was very reasonably priced. The location is superb...25mins to Yosemite's Arch Rock Entrance

Great clean and trendy feeling place, wonderful staff, would highly recommend! And definitely use the grill

Pros: We initially booked a tent and then decided we wanted to upgrade to an airstream and this was kindly complementary. Staff were really helpful and friendly. We BBQ’d both nights on the grill, one day we bought the kit from the shop at Autocamp which was lovely and a bit different, the next night we bought supplies in the general store in Yosemite and brought things back. Pool was great too, and we enjoyed the free coffee and super yummy granola!

Cons: It was 40min-1 hour drive into the heart of the park which feels like a long drive after a day of exploring, but it was definitely the best option around for us.

Pros: Great conversion of Airstream, thoughtfully done, comfy beds, great bathroom space. Loved the various games on offer in the evenings in the communal areas too

Cons: No toaster or grill in the accommodation

We loved it and is a tick off my bucket list 😎💖

Pros: Location, the airstream had everything you need and extremely well thought out. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Extremely comfortable.

Cons: Whilst it is an amazing accommodation it is very pricey

Great Getaway for Yosemite

Pros: Very nice concept for people who likes to experience camping without possible safety, comfort concerns. Very helpfull staff, great atmosphere. Very convenient stay for being connected to the nature without sacrificing too much comfort, could be great getaway for families as well.

Cons: In camp store could be less expensive. For example, firewood is obligatory to be purchased from the camp market which I understand but then pricing should be more reasonable.
