Pros: The incredible tranquility of the place, the relationship of the rooms with the surrounding landscape.

Cons: Breakfast could have more savory alternatives. Also, it should be possible to turn off the lights in the balcony outside of the room.

Quiet and cosy ranch

Pros: O wow Sierra ranch! What a beautifully preserved old building. SO cosy and warm inside. We loved the feel of it. Breakfast was simple but fine and the rooms were on the small side, but the reception are was just lovely. Fire in the lounge made up for everything else. Great looking building and would stay there again in a heartbeat. We left a jacket which was a bit of pain but the ranch straight away offered to post it back. It arrived soon after our holiday. Thank you very much for your help!

Pros: We had a really great stay at Sierra Sky Ranch! The overall experience was wonderful—the air is incredibly fresh and crisp, a huge contrast to city life, and it felt so refreshing to breathe it in every day.The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great recommendations. Our room had a lovely window that opened right up to beautiful views, and we could watch birds flying around and perching nearby. Occasionally one would even tap on the window curiously! At first it surprised us, but honestly, after so much time in the city, this kind of close encounter with nature felt delightful and special—it really added to the charm of being surrounded by the Sierra scenery.Perfect spot as a relaxing stop before or after Yosemite (super convenient location too). Highly recommend for anyone seeking peace, clean air, and a touch of wildlife magic. We'd definitely return!Overall, I'd give it a solid 9/10. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Pros: We stayed one night at Sierra Ranch, and it was the best place we stayed during our two-week trip. The ranch is incredibly cozy and full of character — it feels like living in a museum, with every detail telling a story. The host was very warm and welcoming, and we truly felt at home. Beautiful ranch

Pros: The ranch is beautiful. The room is a bit outdated but in my experience that's normal in 99% of US accomodations in this price range. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Pros: Staff were very nice. We stayed here during the Christmas and the decorations were very Christmas.

Cons: The aircon was a little bit loud. We woke up several times because of the noise

Pros: Bed is amazingly comfortable. Cosy and comfortable stay. Breakfast is good for the price. 45 minutes away from Tunnel View, but worth it.

Beautiful ranch with lots of history

Pros: The ranch was beautiful! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The common areas were large and cosy. They lit a fire for us outside so we could make smores by the bonfire which was a very fun experience. The room was comfy and clean with a large bed. The breakfast was continental and consisted of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, muffins and bread. The selection was small but the food was good.

Cons: Room was a little on the small side with a lack of hanging space.
