Perfect stop

Pros: It was charming. Pravin was so hospitable and funny - he gave great advice for our onward journey! Bed super comfy. Big Pine feels so special. Really funny chicken wandering the grounds too.

Cons: Nothing.

If your traveling through the Eastern Sierras I recommend you consider stopping here.

Pros: The proprietor is extremely welcoming and hospitable. Made my wife and I our favourite chai tea and gave us useful tips about our onward trip. Recommended a great breakfast restaurant and gas station which we visited in our onward trip.

Unexpectedly delightful

Pros: Such a friendly and helpful welcome. The local restaurant was closed but we shopped at the local petrol station market and had a picnic on the Starlight deck. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.

A clean roadside motel.

Pros: This not a five star hotel and it does not pretend to be such. It is a cheap, clean motel with a hot the shower. Yes, the paint might be pealing off here and there, but such is reflected in the price. There were toiletries and even toothbrushes in the bathroom. We were given a basket of fruit and biscuits upon arrival. Rossi’s restaurant down the road is a real local gem.

Cons: My bedside light did not work. They seem to have fixed it, but it stopped working again.

Exceptionally clean, older property with special touches.

Pros: We liked the touches that made the stay memorable, tissues by each bedside, spare toothbrushes in the bathroom and the nice goodie basket given to you upon check in.

Cons: The lack of light in the shower.

Pros: The owners were very nice and cordial. Receiving a basket containing fruit and crackers upon check-in was super nice of hem, The motel was very clean and comfortable. Having a deck where you could eat or chat with other travelers was really nice.
