Newly Renovated Retreat on 6 Acres

Our only regret is they the logistics of our trip meant we only had one night there.

Pros: A spacious house in a nice secluded location with all the amenities we could possibly need. Immaculate and well kept.

Beautiful house in Murphy

Pros: Peace and quiet. Beautiful comfy beds and kitchen with everything you needed. How quick the owners responded when the power went out.

Pros: Quiet, green place. Close to bear valley country ski ~1 hour. A lot of hikes, trails around. Great place to relax and restart after busy weeks.

Cons: The places to eat outside - restaurants/cafes are ok/not great.

Pros: The property was well stocked...everything you need to make your own meals. Nice selection of coffee machines (regular machine, expresso and Keurig with coffee pod choices), super comfy beds, laundry washer/dryer with detergents, assorted shampoos, great views.

Cons: Our family talks and laughs loud. We got a noise complaint. Didn't know we were closer than we thought to other houses. Kind of early curfew, 8pm. We worked on being more quiet the following night. We attended a concert and got there by Uber. Couldn't get one to pick us up afterwards. Taxis already had customers and didn't want to come back. A bunch of us got stranded in the dark and couldn't find a ride back. By a stroke of luck a truck came out of nowhere looking for someone and we were able to convince him to take us all home. We paid him well. Bottom line, don't use Uber to get to the concert...use a sober driver. This was not the property's fault. But thought it important enough to mention.

The house is old and the furniture is VERY worn but overall it was comfortable.

Pros: This is a nice house for 2 couples, although there is only ONE king bed so the other couple has to like a queen,

Cons: I feel the kitchen could use a little attention. Larger pans to cook with
