Timberwood Cottage in Downtown Twain Harte

Amazing, true holiday

Pros: What an amazing place. Such a cute little village with deer running around. The accomodation is modern, clean and very well equipped. Our little one loved the box bed area (not sure if that'ss the right name in English). With very nice outside seating and amazing stargazing at night.

Beautiful Peaceful Cottage

Pros: Timberwood cottage was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The surrounding area was beautiful and very peaceful.

Pros: This is a lovely, large studio (the king size bed is not in a separate bedroom) with a sleeping loft that would work well for two children. It is very clean, beautifully designed and decorated, and very comfortable. there is outdoor space with comfortable chairs, gas fire, umbrella, and lovely views into the forest.

Cons: The TV could have been larger, but it worked just fine for us.

Excellent venue when staying in the Twain Harte area.

Pros: The entry was through a door code and I had trouble opening the door with the code. It appears that to open the door, one needs to apply strength to turning the knob and I didn't do that. I panicked, but was able to communicate with the owners immediately so I wasn't left out for a long period of time. The place was so bucolic that we had a great time relaxing on the terrace.

Cons: The owners need to explicitly communicate how to open the door with the code and lock the door when leaving.

Brittan was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and flexible with our check-in time, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the area!

Pros: We have been going to Twain Harte to visit with family for Thanksgiving for the last few years and this is the best property we have stayed at. It is very clean, cozy and organized with everything one needs. We didn't get a chance to use the fire-pit but it is nice to have an outside area to enjoy. We had a lovely stay.

Lovely Twain Harte rental

Pros: This was such a great property! Great location and friendly host! Super clean and comfortable.

Pros: It was peaceful, beautiful, and welcoming! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need in the way of dishes etc. Our host had complimentary coffee beans and creamer waiting for us along with a hand written card. Our host also communicated with us days before with contact information as well as the door code the day of arrival. Hospitality is a prime focus for this property. The outside area has a fire pit and hammock overlooking the forest. It is the perfect place to come and rest or bring the family. The loft area is any kids idea of fun, and provides a fun adventure. We love Twain Hart and come often, now we have a “go to” place to stay. 100% recommend this property, and plan to come again. :)
