Great location- characterful rustic cabin in the woods, great space to come back to after a day in the park.

Pros: Layout was great. Lots of space- kitchen and lounge. Bedrooms were fine. Bathrooms a little dated but all worked. Great outdoor area and plenty of seating. Amazing setting, very restful and relaxing in the woods.

Cons: Bathrooms are tired and need updating.

Great place to stay

Pros: The place is big enough for 6 people, its very well located, and the self check in and check out was very convinient for my group since we were travelling with out scheddule. I recomend it.

Amazing cabin!

Pros: The location is amazing - surrounded by countryside but a little (but very expensive!) shop within walking distance. We did an amazing walk straight from the cabin one day right up into the mountains, and then a twenty minute car ride the next day to see the giant sequoia grove and a hike there. The cabin is well stocked with cooking implements, and we used the gas BBQ every evening, which was great. There is only salt and pepper in the cabin, which is a shame, as all the other places we've stayed in have had other useful basic ingredients like oil, spices, etc, but I think this is to discourage the bears. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and there was a good stock of DVDs and board games to play. Yes, this was more expensive to stay in than some other properties I considered, but the location is amazing, and we're glad we paid a little more for this. Yosemite is just glorious and we'd definitely return.

Cons: Just maybe having spices/herbs to cook with.

Rustic cabin in the woods

Pros: This two-bedroom cabin is located in the town of Wawona, in the southern part of Yosemite National Park. Next to Yosemite Village itself, it is closer to most of the beautiful hikes and walks than you could get by staying out of the park. The cabin looks to have been built in the 1940s and has the rustic vibe of places from that time, with lots of knotty pine paneling and wood furniture. Having a large deck, big kitchen, and lots of beds were convenient. We even used the DVD player a lot. Very, VERY quiet and dark at night. The little market nearby was good to pick up stuff we forgot. It felt very safe there and being able to cook was super convenient.

Cons: This place has been around a while. The felt carpeting was stained and the formica was peeling in the kitchen -- I'm pointing out cosmetic things here; everything worked after all. Showers can be warm instead of hot. The bed was too soft for a person with a bad back; no one else was bothered though.

Pros: Lovely cabin in Wawona (Yosemite National Park). Cabin has everything you would need to self cater. Setting close to trail walks and swimming spot. Deer occasionally within 20 yards. Short drive into Yosemite valley

Cons: Beds enough for 7 but some old mattresses

We had a great stay and would definitely considering returning.

Pros: We liked the variety and number of bed types so that it could sleep multiple people comfortably. We liked that it is located in an area where there are other options for hiking, etc. besides going all the way into the valley floor of Yosemite. We liked that it was very quiet and in a beautiful location. We liked that it was well stocked as far as kitchen ware was concerned.

Cons: We expected rustic and that's what it is. However, the kitchen towels could use a major upgrade and some of the dishes weren't entirely clean; but wasn't a deal breaker for us. Would be helpful to clarify the type of coffee maker (drip vs K-cup) or such. Would be helpful to note no foil, plastic wrap, etc. if people planning to cook much. Would be helpful to note shampoo, etc. not included. Helpful to note proximity and type of markets available for any provisioning. Just helpful things for planning on what to bring.

Pros: the cabin had everything I needed. the fire place was the star
