Loyah Cabin

The ideal secluded but safe getaway to explore Yosemite National Park!!

Pros: What an amazing cabin set in a lovely serene environment. Very peaceful and secluded but also a very secure location with code locked gates to the property. Lovely to wake up to view the little squirrels, birds and country cattle sounds. Beautifully appointed and stocked cooking provisions made this fantastic country cabin so welcoming. A great alternative to staying in an impersonal hotel room and an ideal location to explore the fantastic Yosemite area and all the beauty it offers.

Cons: Everything was great however, and maybe missed in preparation, were dishwasher tablets, tea towels and hand towels. A minor point but maybe some little details worth noting that complete the ideal getaway.

Pros: Our stay at Loyah Cabin was pure delight. An exceptionally thoughtful host who pays attention to detail. Loyah is tastefully and beautifully appointed. It’s surrounds are spectacular. Waking to the dawn chorus of birds and soft mooing of cattle was blissful. A unique feature of Loyah is its superb outdoor powerful shower. Loyah without doubt is the best place we have stayed when selecting accommodation through Booking. It is your perfect home from home. We’ve cooked here each evening, sitting out on the balcony to enjoy alfresco dining under clear moonlight skies. If you’re a lover of nature, and enjoy being away from the buzz of frenetic city life, Loyah Cabin is a tranquil restorative restful haven, akin to food for the soul.

Pros: Kind of in the middle of a forest vibe. Very private and peaceful.

Cons: A bit of a rough terrain to get up to.

A beautifully appointed, comfortable cabin with great views and excellent amenities.

Pros: Outstanding stay. Communication was seamless, the location was excellent, and the price was more than fair. Parking was easy, the kitchen was well equipped, and both the outdoor view and the view from inside were beautiful. The balcony was a great bonus, and the bed was incredibly cozy. This space is very well appointed and thoughtfully designed — I couldn’t have been happier with my two-night stay. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Definitely worth the stay. You won’t find better for the price

Pros: Beautiful modern cabin with a fantastic kitchen and comfortable bedroom. The super spacious grounds away from all civilization and people with nothing but the birds and cows was an amazing experience

Cons: Nitpicking but the wifi was almost unusably slow (I was getting 1mbps), the tv could use an update (looks like it’s from over a decade ago) and some type of privacy curtain needs to be installed in the bathroom window because anyone on the deck can look right in. Again small gripes.

Pros: Un lugar idílico a 40 mins de la entrada sur de Yosemite. Con total privacidad y en pleno contacto con la naturaleza. Las explicaciones para llegar a este sitio, bastante remoto, no daban lugar a dudas para que todo fuese perfecto

Prachtige accomodatie

Pros: Bij de cabin voelde we ons heerlijk afgezonderd van de rest van de wereld. Daarnaast was het ruim en zag het er prachtig en goed verzorgd uit. De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam in de communicatie. Alles was goed gedocumenteerd, waardoor we niet voor onverwachte situaties kwamen te staan.

Cons: Er zat nog vaat in de vaatwasser. Verder was de WiFi vrij traag (5 Mbps). Ik begrijp dat je er naartoe gaat, juist voor rust en afzondering, maar WiFi met een redelijke snelheid vind ik wel fijn om te hebben indien nodig. Data van mijn telefoon was hier nauwelijks een alternatief op (een combinatie van T-Mobile en AT&T). De zon in de master bedroom was erg fel en heet voor een gedeelte van de ochtend. Hoewel een slaapmasker kan helpen met het licht, helpt het niet tegen de hitte van een zonnestraal. Iets van een soort rolgordijn zou fijn zijn geweest. Al was het uitzicht wel prachtig om mee wakker te worden. Ondanks bovengenoemde details, kan ik de cabin ten zeerste aanraden! Ik zou er graag nog een keer naartoe gaan.

Pros: La Loyah cabin est un balcon sur la nature, entouré du cri des oiseaux, de la beauté des arbres et des montagnes au loin. Passer quelques jours ici, c'est profondément se ressourcer, profiter du confort des lieux, se balader sur une route privée et sur un terrain de dizaines d'hectares, se baigner dans une rivière où l'on trouve encore quelques paillettes d'or (expérience vécue !) et goûter à l'isolement, facile à rompre en quelques minutes de voiture. La gentillesse de Diana est à toute épreuve. Se rendre au Yosemite Parc se fait en moins de 25 minutes.

Imagine waking up to a stunning sunrise right from the comfort of your bed. After a day spent exploring the park’s magnificent views, you can relax on the porch, watching the colorful reflections of the setting sun fade into a dark sky filled with bright stars. The cabin is peaceful and secluded, yet just a 10-minute drive to Oakhurst for groceries, take-out, or dining options. The space was clean and well-equipped for our 3-day stay. Cell phone reception (T-Mobile) was excellent, and we had no issues with the Wi-Fi. We’d come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle.
