Lovely stay next to Tahoe

Pros: Lots of space, pretty close to Lake Tahoe, very nice view

Lovely home just outside of town. Very peaceful and beautiful area. The home was comfortable and had everything we neede

Pros: Lovely home situated about 10 minutes from town. Beautiful view from the balcony. Beds were super comfortable and the home had everything we needed to cook.

Cons: The home was very warm when we arrived and it took a while to get the home cool. Realized we just needed to open the windows and doors to let the cool air in from outside.

An excellent accommodation choice with an abundance of brilliant facilities

Pros: Great location, so much space, really comfy beds and excellent kitchen facilities

Cons: The tv was outdated and difficult to use

Pros: I enjoyed being a few minutes away from town, quiet peaceful but not Isolated

Cons: I wish the bedrooms would of been on the same floor. Having kids sleep in a different level was a bit worrisome.

Pros: Spacious home with comfortable beds. Clean but a bit worn. Great for our family gathering. Portable air conditioning units were available as I was warm upstairs!

Cons: Booking.com listing says there is a hot tub at the house. But there was no hot tub at the house, which was super disappointing! My brother came off trail from hiking PCT and was looking forward to using the hot tub. Once the house was booked, I had to communicate with a 3rd party rental agency and sign a rental agreement. This seemed strange. 3rd party agency said that hot tub listing was fault of booking.com and not theirs. I'm not sure how to get this fixed so other renters are not misled.

great value and location

Pros: We liked that the house was spacious and clean. The fireplace did not work during the time we were there, and we did call it in but that was a minor issue for us. Location was great and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. View from the balcony was pretty.

Cons: The house itself was great. Vacasa's customer service (pre-messaging to me through email and text were not very thorough or friendly). Leading up to the trip, it was hard to get information (i.e. weather, road conditions, canceling, etc.) from Vacasa when calling their number. The 2 or 3 times I called to ask for specific information, the staff were unable to help me. Even when I arrived at the office, I felt their lack of customer service. Two young people were working at the front desk. There were also two older ladies sitting behind their desks (they were not assisting anyone and were just watching our exchange) and they did not step in to assist the younger staff when I was asking questions. I felt bad for the younger staff because they had no guidance during our conversation, even though they wanted to help. I kept looking over at the older ladies, assuming they would interject to help out the younger staff but all they did was sit there and stare at us. My questions and issues were still not resolved. I can't imagine all 4 of the staff members were that inexperienced? It was exasperating because they showed that they cared very little for their customers and their concerns based on what happened. They really do need more training because there was a lack of professionalism and knowledge displayed during my visit.
