Shady Knoll

Would definitely come back!

Pros: Shady Knoll is one of these places that you remember and come back in your memories. It's spacious, comfortable, well maintained and equipped. The place is also quiet and beautifully located. And we didn't expect to be welcomed by one of the most beautiful sunsets! Amazing!

Spacious, welcoming, comfortable house with beautiful views!

Pros: Brilliant house. Amazing facilities, washing machine, dryer, welcome snacks and a bottle of wine (thank you!), comfy beds, air conditionning throughout, spacious living room with wonderfully equipped kitchen. Great views and amazing night skies. A real treat.

Cons: The en-suite bathroom's shower and toilets were a little tired during out stay but the rest of the house more than made up for it! :-)

Relaxing and confortable, just perfect.

Pros: Very nice place, clean and homey, lots of nice small touches, snacks and wine. Fully equipped to cook, including salt, spices, oil etc… Two big rooms with 2 bathrooms were perfect for our family. There are several deck/terrasse on each side, so you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset depending on your preference. The property is close to the park entrance. We only stayed for one night on our way out of the park, but we would stay longer. It was very relaxing and confortable.

Pros: Very nice view and location. The host very friendly. You have everything in the house for family who come to rest and cook

Cons: The house have 2 bathroom and one of them after 1 night was problem with the door so we couldn’t open it so it’s was fixed only in the morning that we were leaving

Pros: This home was stunningly beautiful and the mountaintop views were breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the extras like snacks and wine. The worst part was having to leave, could've definitely spent more time here!

fantastisch huis op schitterende locatie

Pros: Dit mooie grote huis is een echte aanrader. Wij konden spijtig genoeg maar 1 nacht blijven, in de toekomst zou ik hier zeker langer willen blijven. Alles was proper, de kamers en de bedden waren in orde, er stond een welkomstgeschenk klaar, de toegang met de deurcode verliep zeer vlot, de eigenaar stuurde op voorhand veel tips en informatie door, de locatie is prachtig, er is een wasmachine en droger aanwezig, enzovoort.

Cons: niets

Great place to stay if planning to see Sequoias and Kings Canyon.

Pros: Location was great! Host gave us plenty of information preceding our trip so we were very at ease coming. Hospitality with snacks and wine was a wonderful surprise. Great view. Loved sitting on the deck watching the sunrise!

Cons: The property and house need a little TLC but was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Parfait !

Pros: L'emplacement de la maison est exceptionnelle, tout proche de l'entrée du parc National des Séquoias. Propreté irréprochable dans chaque pièce. Des cadeaux de bienvenus comme une bouteille de vins et des biscuits apéritifs nous ont été offerts. La maison est plus grande qu'il n'y paraît sur photos. Les lits sont très confortables. Tout est décoré avec goût, on s'y sent très bien. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable en pleine nature dans cette belle maison. Je ne peux que recommander.

Pros: Wonderful Mountain View! Also the facilities are abundant.

Cons: Lots of bugs (looks like giant mosquitoes). There’s a notice on the wall about pest control, but it is about ants. Generally we managed to kill bugs manually. Some dishes are not clean enough. In terms of the location, generally it’s great, but the only drawback is that it’s not convenient enough to go shopping or find a variety of restaurants. Since it’s very close to Sequoia, this is understandable. Actually I found some groceries nearby, but my friends were too tired to go outside, so saying shopping is inconvenient is unfair.
