Scenic Lake House & Dog Friendly

Magic views, spacious home.

Pros: Loved the proximity to the Lake and Kern River rafting. Squirrels and deer daily visits to the property. Spacious home with lots of bedding options. The views are spectacular and well worth the steep drive up. Hosts were accommodating and responsive. Very clean and packed with lots of essentials.

Cons: Nothing to say. We had an excellent experience.

Cons: Driving to the house is a bit challenging.

Pros: I was looking for a house for the weekend. And I found this house. To say that we are delighted is to say nothing. It is a wonderful big house with all the amenities in a wonderful place. You feel like home. The view from the window is amazing, like from a picture. My children did not want to leave, they loved it so much. I will definitely recommend this house to my friends and I will come again myself.

Pros: My family is made up of view junkies (we look at city lights from our home on a hill). The views from all the rooms in the house were breathtaking, the beds were ultra comfortable, the access to the River and lake was perfect, The daily deer sighting, biggest TV I have ever seen in a rental home, the available condiments, games and premium foosball added the exact punctuation fitting of a storybook stay. Oerfect for my pets and they loved the scenery and space to run around! The host was polite, timely, professional, and detail-oriented when it came to communication and ensured all went smoothly. If you want the perfect getaway with lake AND river access, this is the place!

Pros: The lakeview and breeze on the patio is unmatched! What a lovely place for our weekend stay! Plenty of area, multiple air mattresses for everyone, and pet-friendly accommodation a plus!

Cons: The last bits of the hilly road up to the property is unpaved and narrow so be prepared for that stretch but totally worth it once you get up there:)

Pros: Great view, very comfortable house, super clean, good bads, extra blow up mattresses is a huge plus. Fantastic outside balcony

Cons: The road to the property is a challenge, and the owner warned us about it a few days before we came, We had a boat with us that we had to park at the bottom of the hill. No way to get it up the hill. Not a huge problem, just be aware when booking, particularly if you are towing a boat.

Fantastic view! Extremely clean and comfortable.

Pros: The entire home was well kept and clean and had all you needed. The location and view was fantastic. And the host was outstanding to deal with, consistently available and very responsive.

Pros: Excelent location, amazing lake view, easy coming back. Most recommended for spring, summer, and fall.
