Pros: Great for off mountain access to the Tahoe Ski area and lake. Super quiet, even though it is off the highway.

Cons: The restaurant and dining choices were limited. Eat before arrival if possible.

Pros: The property is in a beautiful area in the Sierra Mountains, but is a bit removed from main communities, so a great spot if you want to relax and enjoy nature a while. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: The bathroom wasn't heated and so very cold. I did get an electric heater from the office, but it wasn't very powerful and it took until the next morning for the bathroom to reach a tolerable temperature.

Americana roadside motel with excellent services and staff!

Pros: Such a friendly motel of yesteryear! Not fancy, but clean and comfy! Fast wifi! Great cafe for quality diner food. This was our second trip. It is @ bit worn down, is run by a mission for rehabbing young men, holds a church service for them in back of diner and they live there and provide all the services. Nice office with essentials for sale. We were treated to a snowfall each visit!

Cons: If it were renovated would be amazing, but would definitely pay steeper fees!

A Thanksgiving Blessing...

Pros: The place was quaint, beautiful hills covered with pine tree. The Rustic Table food was homemade made with love. All of the staffs is outstanding...

Cons: Nothing to say anything negative. Just place of excellence.

Great place for a quiet stay up in Tahoe National Forest

Pros: Lovely place. Quite remote if you like that sort of places. Great there is a restaurant next door

Cons: I didn't like the slow internet when I needed it. Not using this against the hotel, because they do warn you ahead of check-in.

Pros: Matt, Mike & Dave….Outstanding as to our comfort and safety…The room was clean, and comfortable… Ruben in the dinner provided outstanding service.

Good value if you don’t have allergic reactions to dust and bring ear plugs.

Pros: Restaurant next door opens early and offers a good selection. Lodge staff has great communication and service. The location is convenient just off the freeway and 25m away from sugar bowl.

Cons: Wife is sensitive to dust. She had a minor allergic reaction from the moment we stepped in the room. The heater was extremely loud when it came on making it difficult to sleep. Will bring ear plugs next time.

Great stay - worth the money, and I’m already planning to come back

Pros: This hotel is a great place to stay near Boreal Mountain — comfortable, welcoming, and definitely worth the money. The owners are honest and attentive, and the on‑site restaurant is surprisingly good, with plenty of options. Overall, my stay was excellent, and I’m already planning to return on my next ski trip.

Cons: Great stay, there isn’t much to comment on.

Quiet, Clean and Great Service

Pros: The room is small, but it is very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable! The TV has lots of channels and they use Starlink for their internet access, which was fast and reliable. It is located in a small remote area off Hwy 80, but I never heard any traffic. The restaurant has food that you wouldn't expect to be that good! They make a great burger and also have some nice pasta dishes. Service was fantastic!

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. All was good!
