Pros: A great little hotel, just on the outskirts ut within easy walking distance of amenities. Good size room, very comfy bed. Great staff, all very chatty and helpful. Sauna and hot tub are a bonus

Gets the basics right and the warm friendly service adds a lot.

Pros: Staff very warm and friendly, this made a real difference. Room very clean and comfortable. Location excellent. Also, I only discovered the Loop Trail just behind the hotel on my last day -- this was a real bonus and maybe should be advertise more!

Cons: Only some rooms had an excellent view. Mine did not with a view of the parking lot. Maybe its worth being clear about this at the time of booking. The building felt a bit old and the floors above were creaky. Also, a breakfast buffet would have been good. The price was rather high but for Mammoth Lakes in August this is probably normal.
