Westin 617

Great apartment with free pool, whirpool and gym.

Pros: Great location, super pool and gym. Our kids loved view from the seating by the window.

Cons: Everything was great, just amout of infornation received with the booking was overhelming. And during our short stay we slightly lacked basic kitchen stuff (salt, pepper, tea, coffe - the security reason of not providing was mention in the documents, but would made our stay more comfortable).

It is the first time that we stay in a hotel getting available hotel services.

Pros: It is a good unit within Westin resort with all necessary facilities and kitchen wares. The room has a decent view of the pool and street. It seems to be well insulated for remaining warm with little use of heater during cold nights in October. The TV has many features, including streaming!

Cons: We found an empty beer can embedded in the sofa bed and some toothbrushes on the side of the bed frame. TV remote’s buttons didn’t work well; it took several tries to accept a button press. The body wash bottle seems to be empty or doesn’t work properly as there was nothing coming out from it. There were no swimming towels to allow us to use the pool. The parking tag was not recognized by one of the hotel staff at the parking entrance. A lot of guests bring along dogs, and there were poops on the floor in front of elevator on a parking level. Someone stepped on it and made a big mess!

Amazing spot with EVERYTHING you’ll need for a great stay.

Pros: The location was amazing next to the Village and shuttle system to get around. I loved the parking garage and how quickly the elevator got us to our destinations at the property. The room was close to the elevator too. Room was clean with a beautiful view. Bed was comfortable with plenty of towels. We slept with the window open all night and enjoyed the mountain air. This stay far exceeded our expectations.

Cons: I was not a fan of climbing the hill it is on.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Westin 617 Airbnb. The location is excellent—conveniently situated within the heart of Mammoth Lakes, making it easy to access local attractions, dining, and the Village gondola. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It felt like a cozy home away from home. We appreciated the attention to detail and the overall comfort of the space. Overall, it was a great experience and we would happily stay here again on our next visit to Mammoth.

Cons: I had a small issue during check-in—most likely because I missed some of the details about how to retrieve the key cards, since the Westin Monache isn’t directly involved with Airbnb reservations. There was no physical contact with the reservation. It's all by text; However, after speaking with customer service, everything was quickly resolved and handled smoothly

Excellent accommodations

Pros: Close to gondola, underground parking, cleanliness.

Perfect summertime getaway to enjoy Mammoth Mountain!

Pros: This is a great value for a stay at the Westin. The hotel restaurant and bar were both great.

The Westin provided a great, convenient location.

Pros: Very convenient location to restaurants and shopping. Hotel and grounds well maintained.

Cons: The room was tight for 3 adults and a medium size dog, but for the amount of time we stayed in the room and the price, can’t complain.

Pros: Location was exceptional. Easy to access the public transit, walk to the village for food/drinks, and easy access to the mountain. All parking is in a garage so transporting gear to/from the room was easy. The hotel has a surprisingly good restaurant (try the poutine). Really enjoyed the staff and the amenities. Bonus is that there are 2 separate hot tubs.

Cons: There are no luggage carts provided to the guests. It is a full service hotel so you have to pay a bell boy to bring in all of your luggage. Since this is a private unit, I am not sure if that is an option so we ended up making a lot of trips.

Very enjoyable

Pros: I did not receive breakfast, because I was booked through Booking.com

Cons: The parking is horrendous and dangerous. I was not allowed to use valet parking.
