SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Mammoth Lakes

Lovely cozy Hotel at the heart of the small town.

Pros: Mr Rao is a great guy. Lovely talking to him and engaging him in the conversation.

Comfortable sleep on stopover from Yosemite to las vegas

Pros: Breakfast was good, location was spot on. Staff was helpful, bed was comfortable and pillows were very good

Cons: Room slightly slopped down hill

Very hiker friendly. Lovely and clean.

Pros: The guy at reception was fantastic , let us check in early and was very welcoming.

Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: The breakfast was perfect for fueling up. The property is only a block or two away from the village and conveniently across from a pizza joint.

Cons: Heating and AC is an old school wall mounted noisy unit. It works but it’s just loud and would caution for the light sleeper.

Pros: The hotel was clean and well located, the staff was convenient and helpful. The jacuzzi was a plus. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. It was overall a pleasant stay. Thanks to Rao and the staff

Pros: We had a queen room and a pull out couch which was perfect for three people. Room was clean and pretty spacious for our group. Parking and breakfast were both included as well.

Cons: Bathroom was a little small. The heater in our room was so loud that we ended up not using it at night, but it was fine during the day.

Pros: The coffee machine in the lobby!! the staff , the room , despite some obvious small issues was nice.

Cons: There was a lot of dirt and debris , long hairs on the floor. The electrical socket (GFCI) in the bathroom was loose in the FRAMING. During the remodel, a new door lock mechanism was installed, but the strike plate was not modified to allow the deadbolt to work. The sliding door to the bathroom is a good idea. However, it seemed rather awkwardly too large and protruded into the bedroom area quite a bit, which was a hazard to getting up in the night to use the restroom. The Best thing to ever do with such a bathroom door is to make it a pocket door. I will definitely consider staying here in the future. Especially if the price can match or better that offered by Motel 6.

Nice stay

Pros: Clean room without the carpet. Nice bathroom with shower, not tube.

Cons: The room was very small.

The location is great, breakfast is good, staff is very helpful.

Pros: It was close to the bus stop and restaurants. I was able to park the car in a covered garage and take the bus to the mountain.

Cons: Parking garage was tight. Breakfast was good, but the toaster did not work. Bathroom floor in room 211 needs to be repaired or replaced as planks are loose and sticking up. Power outlet and USB ports near the bed do not work.

Everything that you need for a mammoth ski trip stay

Pros: We loved everything about the property!! Free, covered parking is a huge bonus and the free breakfast is perfect for before a long ski day. The jacuzzi was always nice and warm, super clean, and never had anyone in it! Couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience, especially for the price.

Cons: The mammoth bus system is really inaccurate and was almost always at capacity in the morning (and would just drive past) so we had to walk up to the village. It’s about 20 minutes and luckily not too bad of an incline, but not super fun with a bunch of ski gear. Absolutely not a knock on the hotel itself!!
