Unique and charming on the LA-SanFran route

Pros: A delightful surprise - super staff, lovely pool and gym, great wine and food in the Kitchen restaurant, comfortable and well-appointed room, and quiet for a good night’s sleep. A unique individual hotel - don’t stay at some chain motel!

Cons: Nothing - we had a great stay! The AC in the room was a little noisy

Perfect stay

Pros: Everything! We booked this hotel just to split the long trip, therefore we had no expectations. this is a paradise! Very beautiful hotel, garden, swimming pool, delicious restaurant, vine museum! Bravo!

Loved it - amazing

Pros: Fantastic staff, with an amazing woman in the reseption. Helping us, explaining and made us feel very welcome.

Cons: The only thing we did not like was that we should have been there longer to explore even more of this fantastic hotel

Pretty hotel

Pros: Nice clean rooms, very pretty exterior to the hotel. Tip - the best Mexican food truck opposite - La Jalisciense - worth the trip just for that place. We only did an overnight but think with a warmer pool it would be a lovely weekend break. Also Pea Soup Andersons for breakfast nearby is amazing as a tourist site in itself (pretty unique decor and really lovely staff)

Cons: Freezing pool, which was a shame as the kids couldn't use it - in August. Would have been much better value to include breakfast.

Cons: This obsession with carpets…doesnt bring cleanness feeling and elevators were not working

A quick stop off the highway for a night!

Pros: The on-site restaurant was lovely! We had some wonderful food there and the staff were great. The laundry was super useful and the room was nice and big and clean.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The grounds are fabulous , and we love the beautiful Mexican tile d original artwork. Very comfortable room overlookong the courtyard. Our very favorite place to stay.
