Corral Creek Lodge

It was a very enjoyable one night stay and felt like we were in the wilderness with the usual comforts from an hotel

Pros: It is in an ideal location right next to kern river. The room was spacious and clean. There is lots of outside facilities such as bbq and washing facilities.

Cons: Could not fault the property

Pros: - Large room with lots of facilities - Friendly people. Helped me with my car tire issue.

Pros: Beautiful location, well equipped, clean and comfortable room. Friendly owner.

Pros: Very nice, cozy, elevated decor; the lodge has a lot of history. Great emersed in nature view from the room.

Cons: If I had to pick something, could have had a bit more options for breakfast, but still pretty standard offering for the region and the server was extremely nice and accomodating.

It's a lodge in the mountains ya'll

Pros: Good location - access to plenty of hiking trails. Large, clean room with kitchenette so there's no need to drive into Kernville unless you want to.

Cons: It's all wooden, which is cozy and attractive, but you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms. If you value your sleep, request a room on the second floor so there's no one stomping above you all night. Bring earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones just in case.

Great location and facilities, nice place to stay.

Pros: Great location, comfortable room with excellent facilities. Kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, plates and utensils etc. Large television. Took a walk down by the river in the evening, superb.

Cons: As warned the walls are very thin and therefore it was noisey at times however, great value for money and would still stay again.

Pros: Beautifully located, room had everything we needed. A bit remote if you’re traveling from Sequoia NP, but was worth it.

A wonderful stay surrounded by nature!

Pros: This place is a true oasis. It feels like home, and you can definitely sense the American vibe :) It was our first stay on our trip through the States and one of the most unforgettable ones (especially since the night before, we had a very disappointing stay in Las Vegas :(). Thank you!

Cons: Everything was perfect. It was a real pleasure to spend the night at this resort.

Comfortable stay next to river and beautiful scenery.

Pros: The location is absolutely beautiful, very close to the river. The staff is nice and there is all you need to grill, if you’d like. There is a basketball ring and multiple games to play (horseshoe throwing, axe throwing, mostly throwing stuff it seems…)

Cons: The pillows were a tiny bit too thick for our taste. That’s it!

Lovely place, well worth the money

Pros: location is lovely, just outside of Kernville and with access to the creek across the road. super pretty! the room is spacious, we booked two queen beds and they were comfortable, pillows comfortable too. the shower was had good pressure and hot water, and was very clean. the kitchen also had the basics and was clean, so we were very happy - has a coffee maker which is always a plus! staff was helpful and the general environment welcoming .

Cons: can be a little noisy - we went on a Saturday night and as the lodge offers BBQ facilities there was loud music and people chatting (and probably celebrating their catches!). Although this was a little intimidating at first, the noise was down at a reasonable time and we had a very good night sleep. You can hear the people on the other rooms but nothing special, just the sort of noise you'd expect from places with thinner walls like this. worth it for the price, comfort and location!!
