Beautiful scenic spot. Comfortable, clean hotel. Food was lovely. Staff were so helpful

Pros: Perfect location for a day at Sequoia. Rooms were cosy and clean, it was lovely waking up to see the mountains Staff were very nice and helpful Restaurant was great overlooking a beautiful river, Food was lovely All round a fabulous experience

Pros: Staff were friendly and accommodating. Bed was comfortable and could park car right outsie room. Restaurant looked over the river with a gorgous view - big boulders and roaring river

Cons: Rooms a little tired and could do with a little TLC. Vending machine on porch right outside our room was a bit off-putting

Pros: Location was brilliant staff were friendly and efficient. Good value for access on the edge of Sequoia Nat. Park and backing onto rushing river. Great place to have a glass of wine.

Cons: No jug/kettle or tea making facilities. Housekeeping did not make bed just pulled it up.

Convenient stay at Gateway Restaurant &Lodge

Pros: Convenient location at entrance to park, lovely comfy chairs outside the room on the porch, toiletries provided were nice, electric fireplace provided good heating that was easily adjustable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Convenient parking outside the room. Restaurant on site (big portions, expensive but guests receive a 10% discount).

Cons: Room was very small for 4 people (beds very close together), very few outlets for charging devices, beds were not the comfiest, towels were not the thickest.

Great and unpretentious place to stay when visiting Sequoia National Park

Pros: The Bar and restaurant were excellent with free food on a Monday night during football season.

Cons: The aircon unit in the room was really loud but kept the room really cool in the hundred degree heat.

Friendly and well located with a great restaurant onsite

Pros: The location is great, just outside the entrance to Sequoia National Park. We had a quiet cabin at the back of the property with a deck overlooking the river. The decor is a little dated but the bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We ate dinner in the attached restaurant which was very good.

Cons: My only negative is that the shower was a little feeble

Charming Hotel with Excellent Food and Friendly Service at the Entrance of Sequoia Park

Pros: This hotel was incredibly charming, located right at the entrance of Sequoia Park. The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. The establishment also features a beautiful terrace by the river, which made for a very pleasant experience.

Pros: On the way to Séquoia Park, at 0,5 miles From the Gate. Staff very kind, good food and beverage. We also found a Nice place just nearby the motel to take a bath in the river and the time in Gateway was perfect. I strongly recommend !
