Atomic Inn Beatty Near Death Valley

A great place to stop over at when exploring nearby Death Valley .

Pros: A little gem of a motel in Beatty. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower hot. There are numerous places to eat within a few minutes walking distance . The staff were very friendly and coffee was available in the reception area. The motel is ideally situated for a stay when exploring nearby Death Valley.

Cons: The room was equipped with a microwave and a fridge but no coffee maker or kettle. The air conditioning unit was really noisy .

A fun and friendly stop en route to Death Valley

Pros: Situated in a lovely small town on the Nevada/California border. I adored the wild mules that ventured past my motel door. Within walking distance to a bar and restaurant and also a petrol (gas) station. Staff very friendly.

Cons: Late at night, after midnight, some people were gathered right outside my motel room engaged in very loud and at times heated argument, which wasn't ideal given I was getting up at 5:30am to make my way to Death Valley National Park. So, I didn't get much sleep as they didn't disperse until around 2am.

Great place, great staff!

Pros: Rooms were perfect for what we needed i.e a base from which to explore Death Valley. Owner was very amenable and welcoming, couldn't have asked for more! Beatty itself is an interesting little place with lots going on.

Pros: Fun hotel along the Extraterrestrial Highway. If you're looking for that old fashioned retro experience, then this hotel is for you.

Cons: Wished our pillows were fresher and firmer.

Pros: Quiet side street. Funky. Sort of old, but it has personality. We've stayed several times and use it as a portal to Death Valley.

Pros: The room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. And staff ready to help us.

An ideal location for a night in Beatty

Pros: Room was reasonably well appointed with fridge and much needed AC.

Pros: Very handy for Death Valley. Right in town, walking distance to restaurants for breakfast and dinner.

Cons: Nothing!

Simple, but good enough for a short stay
