Extremely good value stay, clean and comfy.

Pros: Simple but very nice place. Clean and very comfy, the owner is also very arranging and friendly. I would definitely come back here, best bang for your buck!

Pros: it is in a small city and I think that the city is not a big mega city so, understand that everything seemed old. It didn't matter to me at all. Front desk was kind and most good thing to me was there is a balcony where I could drink coffee on. sipping a coffee watching cozy small town in dessert was fantastic.

Vintage on the road motel

Pros: If you are looking for a vintage and authentic motel experience, this is the right place! The room was cozy and quiet. Staying there felt like being in a cult movie. The position in good if you are doing an “on the road trip” on the Eastside of the Sierra Nevada. The host was very kind and helpful. We found this place to be much more interesting than the many touristy places around the Sierras.

One night for budget travellers: perfect.

Pros: Nice and helpful staff. Non-expensive room. Gas station nearby. Staff brought us 2 pouches of ice. Problemfree wifi. Plenty of free parking. Clean. Cash accepted.

Cons: No micro in the room, although advertised. No ice machine. (Staff was as kind as provided us with ice.)

Pros: The Motel was old inside and outside. Old interior with broken fixtures and poor quality repairs. There was a towel stuffed in a 6\

Would stay again

Pros: Easy to find--though Hawthorne is a pretty small town so anything would be easy to find and it's close to anything else in town. Nice staff at check-in. Larger room than expected. Bed was comfortable. Place was quiet. Everything worked.

Cons: The bottom of the shower around the drain looked like it had been patched or something.
