Moose and Maple Lodge

Pros: The location was perfect. Middle of town, not far from the Main Street with its great array of eateries and stores and close to the Heavenly gondola station.

Cons: Walls and floors are thin with little insulation (a feature of its older design, which we accepted), but this could be mitigated by carpet on upper units, although I understand that this might detract from the modern decor of the units.

Nice stay

Pros: Great location, loved the gas fireplace, comfortable bed. Complimentary laundry and the kitchen space was good to have.

Cons: Bin outside our room was not bear proof. Awoken one night by loud noises and a bear rummaging through the bin. It did have a sign on not to put rubbish in it past 5pm, but just remove the bin or get a bear proof one. Noise travels from room to room.

Pros: This room and amenities fitted to our needs, the kitchen was small but usable, and its walking distance to the shops,

Pros: Everything we needed for our 6 night stay. Clean, comfy accommodation. Short distance to walk to either the Lake or the Shops/Bars. Carlos was very pleasant & helpful with recommendations of places to visit & watching the sunset by the Lake, which we did on our last night.

Cons: The only downside was hearing people moving around in the upstairs accommodation & the dog barking ( we are dog owners ourselves) Using the ear plugs supplied did help me sleep.

Pros: Hassle-free check, prompt communication. Room was exactly as described. The location is very good, very close to restaurants and shops.

Wonderful property with everything we needed

Pros: Really lovely property with comfortable and clean furnishings. Area felt safe and it was within walking distance of Heavenly Village. Nice area for an evening walk. Pool was heated and enjoyed by the children. Laundry on site, all for free including laundry supplies. Everything you need for a few days stay, including toiletries and kitchen items. Hosts take noise issues seriously. We were worried when we arrived to see ear plugs provided and explanations about thin walls but we had absolutely no issues with noise from anywhere.

Cons: No full size oven although there was a counter top toaster oven which was sufficient for what we needed for a few days. If you are staying longer and wish to self cater the lack of a full size oven might be an issue.

10/10 we will come back.

Pros: Perfect location—only a 10-minute walk to the beautiful lakeside beach. Staff responds in seconds. We asked for the crib and dishwasher detergent, and both were answered within 5 minutes. The room is spacious, with plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathroom. The jacuzzi is a huge plus. The hot water comes within seconds.

Cons: The floor is a little bit dirty, especially in the living room.

Very good for short stay!

Pros: In heart of south Lake Tahoe -all shops and beachside In very close proximity. Hosts were accommodating. Accepted all my requests. Clean and tidy Kitchen, bathroom fully equipped for the stay

Cons: AC was noisy at night. There were free earplugs provided by hosts but, I am not comfortable using them while sleeping. There always some noise from floor above. Not too much but since I wanted to sleep early it was a bit disturbing. Coffee mugs were stained so didn't feel like using them. Lighting in the room could have been better

Good stay

Pros: The location is fabulous, near the main street, you can do a lot just by walking around. There's also free parking on the lot. The room was very spacious and cozy, with a full kitchen available. I was able to do the whole check-in with the lodge remotely, so never really had to talk to the staff face to face.

Cons: The cleanliness of the room could have been a little better, specially the bathroom. It was not dirty, just to be clear, but you could see people had stayed there prior to my arrival because of hairs and such. The wi-fi connection was pretty unstable, sometimes it worked well and sometimes it just suddenly died. I stayed in room 2, which is in front of the patio that they were renovating. In my first morning there the work on the patio began about 07:40. Luckily for me, we got up earlier than that to enjoy the day, but if I had planned to stay in the bed until later in the day it would have been pretty annoying.
